The feedback is that the players want the GCD removed, ZOS' lead combat designer Eric considered it a bug, but someone deep within the bowels of ZOS simply refuses to let it be removed... or even explain why.

That's where we stand, and it looks like nothing is ever going to change.

Hopefully the influx of console players will make more people realize how ridiculous this situation is. That looks to be the only hope right now.

They've already acknowledged that empower does not apply to AoEs. The CD will have to wait.

The GCD is a much easier fix.
