I'm not saying they would DO this, I'm saying it opens the door for abuse.
I'd prefer we be given the option to choose racial passives for alts: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/153977/eso-character-offspring-a-phylogenetics-concept/p1
NO race change.
NO "free choice" of racial passives.
This game has already bended TES lore in so many ways, we DON'T need to ruin it completely.

Why do we have 8 character slots if we can just change race and class any time we want. Prefer the choice we make being a choice we live with and roll a new character if we want something different.
I think a lot of people are happy with their race but don't feel empowered enough by their racial passives for the specific role their character plays.
I think the best solution would be a "Passive Morph" that allows you to change your passives on every character once every 30 days. Offer 3 to 5 alternatives to promote diversity.
Bundle it with a ectoplasmic horse and ectoplasmic costume (both translucent blue), a Wormmouth pet, and charge 2000 crowns. Because it would probably be overpriced if they sold the P-Morph all by itself.

I often mention that one as well... if alchemy can change orcs into monkeys and dunmer into argonians... then race change is in the lore. Period.Mettaricana wrote: »NO race change.

actually there is a quest where a dunmer made a concoction that actually turned him into an argonian the potion was slightly off as he meant to become a khajiit so if an npc is in the world doing it its not so lore breaking after all
I don't think I'll ever quite understand the whole "race change is lore breaking" argument. With all the crazy things that happen in Tamriel, someone finding a way to change their race wouldn't make my top 10 list.
Didn't someone already manage it? I can't remember where it was but wasn't there a quest where a Dunmer managed to transform himself into a khajiit because he liked them and wanted to be one? It might not have been a dunmer or khajiit, but pretty sure it was an elf to a beastrace.
I also can't remember if they succeded, but it was definitely a quest. It's been awhile.
Regardless, even without that, I just see it as gameplay/story segregation
Considering the Dwemer motif costs 5,000 crowns and that's for a relatively useless cosmetic item that you could farm the gold for in a few days. I have a feeling they'll charge more than 3,000. I don't agree with their pricing but I suspect a race change would be closer to 10,000 crowns.TheShadowScout wrote: »
But regardless of that, I am not opposed to the option being available in the crown store - provided it costs enough to make it something to think twice about. If a race change costs, say, 3000 crowns... I'd be happy with that, it would be expensive enough to keep people from overdoing it (and any who still buy it will just fill the developers war chest to finance more content for all of us coming that much sooner)
