ZOS Please bring back the transfers for people who missed the cutoff....
Sometimes life intervenes and you miss a date, then you get no chance to follow through. Please ZOS bring back the PC>Console Transfers, or at least make them permanent option for those who were with the PC version from day 1...

Zazaaji✭✭✭✭While you had an entire month to transfer, paired with an entire month warning of the cutoff, I do think that ZoS should bring this back after console launch as a "Service" in the account store. If they don't, they'd anger a lot of fans, as well as miss out on a lot of money.
Don't get me wrong, I'd never use it. My PC characters are crap, as I'm waiting for console launch to really play the game. I just think it'll be too much of a "missed opportunity" if they don't add it again.

some people use to take long breaks from games...others may think that they have done with a game and that they will never go back and then one day all of a sudden they are burning inside to play said game (I know that feeling, I ve done this before..).
I can probably find other reasons for missing the date, such as real life problems/obligations..anyway, I am not have a high level in my account so does not matter for me, but I don't think that Zenimax does not want to do it..maybe the transfer is not that simple and it requires some work for transferring data to a new datacenter etc. And now they have other priorities.
I think that if they could they would have let it happen. Maybe in the future, while they run out of the very emergent matters to deal, they will open up again.0 -

I knew about the transfer and the cut off and I didn't look for it or care. It was clear. As for the need for an end point, they would logically need one for preparing for the migration. While it's not an overly complex task it does require some prep work.

They're not going to breach their own terms ("After the 30-day period, you will no longer be able to purchase this special digital copy of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for console or copy your PC/Mac account to console in any other way.").
That "or" is pretty important. That means neither is going to happen again.

Oh wait, this is not major news. Zenimax announced it on their website, and emailed players directly. Then they gave you a whole month. There is not much else they could have done, really.

I figured it would be something I did on the console launch day. I logged on the forums 1 day after the deadline. They sent one single email telling the customers to do this. Just ONE.... I've been playing and paying for almost a year only to transfer to the console and now I can't because I missed their bogus deadline.A place where everything and nothing exists, this is my playground.1 -

I think it's obvious and clear that I missed "all the talk about console transfer in 2014". And as I stated in my previous comment I thought it would be something done on console launch day. I must of missed that SINGLE all important email they sent to us. I know it's really time consuming and expensive to send emails and they probably couldn't afford to send a few extra warnings out but, as a paying subscriber I feel like I should of got at least two emails... I know I may be asking for a bit much but, sometimes I'm just really selfish that way....

Sometimes life intervenes is a valid excuse? I had no idea, great I'll start using that from now on.

I didn't get the email because emails from ZOS are hit and miss with Comcast. They don't play nice together and ZOS admitted it. In fact, I had to transfer email accounts just so I could log into the game. There are others that have the same problem.
There are others who don't read the forums because they are full of vitriol. If they didn't get the email and they don't read the forums, they would not know because ZOS did not really advertise this other than their own forms of communication.
I don't have a PS4 and I don't want a transfer. I'm just pointing out that there are reasons that people could have missed the deadline.
ZOS should do free transfers for everyone who own both games. Only now, people have to pay full price for the game. I don't think they should get it at the 20.00 cost. That deadline is gone but the transfers should never be gone.
