+1 for climbable ladders. Non-climbable ladders are terribly immersion-breaking, and the immersion factor is one of ESO's strong points.
If the map designers don't want us climbing somewhere, they shouldn't put a ladder there.

Ability available in the Crown Store 1 week after 1.6 goes live.....

What's worse is that apparently there isn't a way to make an overall sweeping change to "ladder" assets. NEW assets would need to be created and manually replaced within the world. One at a time. Now that it's going to b2p why would they do this? There's no way to monetize this. Hopefully they will, but probably not.
Bring back the Climb skill from the Daggerfall days.

Wrong...if the new asset has the same name as the old ones eg. ladders.fbx..they would only have to replace the file in their engine for the old one to the new and the engine would render all the new ladders instead of the old one..
I dabbled abit in modeling animating and some assembling in Unity game engine so i know this would work...
The only problem i could find is that they dont want all ladders to be replaced...then idk what would happen BUT the amount of developers they have would make an easy time replacing them even 1 by 1
We don't need toilets. People in ESO are at peak physical capacity and burn off every single ounce of food they consume. There is no waste.NadiusMaximus wrote: »No toilets either.
Wtf ZOS wtf?
COME ON! I mean, SERIOULSY?
There is no reason we shouldn't be able to climb ladders!
