Why do some still call magicka NB weak?

Is Magicka NB plausible in pve? other then sap tanking havent really seen magicka be useful in pve

In PvE NB healer is actually very good. Destro dd is ok aswell but wont have as much dps as a stam.

In PvE NB healer is actually very good. Destro dd is ok aswell but wont have as much dps as a stam.

would it pull 10k dps to make trials groups happy or am i better off trying to heal for that ***. i like tanking with it but i suppose the more versatile i can be, the better. Ive also never felt like resto was good for healing all it really has is healing springs, but then again maybe im looking at it incorrectly.

Yes you can have more than 10k dps. Harder than with stam or magicka sorc/dk tho.

Assuming we are talking about equally skilled players.

1v1 - Mana NB > Stam NB (mainly because of undodgable concealed)

1vX - Stam NB > Mana NB (mainly because of survivability from dodge roll and reliable burst damage)

That basically sums it up, right there. Spoke by someone who knows.

Magicka might be harder to excel at, hence the perception that it is somehow weaker. Not the case.

I don't agree with this.

Maybe it's because I'm a Magic NB, but the ability to cloak and use HW gives it an advantage in the current meta where more DK's are running Whip, and other classes with Proxy.

That part.. To many abilities going through dodge right now and it seems like the Meta is changing to use these abilities and stack the damage for them.
