Sooo, I've noticed that in certain cities such as Evermore, Bangkorai that the ships have no way of leaving where they are anchored. The ship in Evermore most of all doesn't make any sense as to why it's anchored there. Its sails are waaaay to high, and there's no way it can go under the Stormhaven-Bangkorai bridge, thus there is no way it can get out. Also, almost every ship in Shadowfen is basically the same, there is no way for them to leave where they are anchored. Kind of makes you wonder how they got there in the first place.... Anyways I thought this was quite funny when I realized it.. What do you guys think?

I think it is pretty safe to assume that these "ships" are using the chameleon circuit to alter it's plasmic shell.

The only thing i can say that would do it is the tide, but even that still doesn't really make much sense..

Look in Cyrodiil for the biggest references to this. Those other spaces could be explained with a "low tide" season, but in Cyrodiil the built bridges over the water with such tiny spaces that only a row boat could escape. But then look by the bridge between allesia and sej, to the west you'll see the back end of a ship WAY too small for that tiny inlet. don't watch to risk getting ganked? Look in the lower west of the cyrodiil moat and look at the ship they have on the map and compare the size there to the space of the bridge and river. There has to be some magical Harry potter bus squishing magic to get that thing out to sea.

For Black Marsh it could be feasible for the boats to end up there thanks to the marsh tides. Yes, marsh tides. Black Marsh is constantly churning muck, mire, and waste, making inhabitation and invasion by other peoples impossible. When the Empire holds Black Marsh (in 900 years) they will rebuild the roads and bridges every month as the structures are swallowed by the swamp. There's a saying about this land: "Everything flows to Black Marsh." The boats may have anchored near the shore or in a river but the marsh tides moved them elsewhere.

I am unsure what you are referring to.
However, if the ship appears to be too big to be where it is, it was likely built there.

As for how to handle getting out... Magic?

This was a problem with the Niben in Cyrodill of Oblivion, too. The Imperial City is a major port, with no exit at Leyawiin.

Edit: Perhaps the best part of the scene is where Ragetti simply points and says, "Boat."

I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Lazyness on the developers side, just like back in the days of TES:IV Oblivion. As allready mentioned by others.
Morrowind was much better in that regard.

Maybe the ship is normal and we're all too small? How weird would that be?
