Would you like to see a campaign with special hardcore rules?
-Player collision activated
-Roll dodging/crouching should let you pass through
-aoe does 50% damage to allies
-Allies and enemies create line of sight issues much like when a npc walks in front of another

Not saying it's technically possible but should zos try?

    Other camps with special rules would be cool. Make them not have the emp mechanic so no emp trading.

    Pretty nice idea. Also if you expect someone is a spy you can send them to a trial of sorts where they have to prove themselves.

    That would be a campaign exclusive for solo burst builds. Since playing around allies will be a handicap with collision, friendly fire and ESO's slugging targeting system combined with player LoS.

    Would mainly be populated by dodge-bots in sneak and few sorcerers. Builds with hard hitting single target nukes, mobility, escapes and ability to dodge past player collision without stamina issues.

    I rather have duels or arena, for small scale PvP. Half-empty campaigns where people cant find the enemy, because everyone sitting in sneak waiting for something to jump, it sounds like a waste of server capacity.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
    • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
    • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
    • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
    • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
    • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit
    • Fix the speed drop while jumping - see video
    • Fix loading screens when keeps upgrade
    • Fix Rams going crazy (spinning around)
    • Bring back dynamic ulti regeneration
    • Fix speed bug (abilities locked)
    • Introduce dynamic population
    • Lower population cap by 20%

    I can see where your coming, by removing the player LoS it may make it a little better. That being said this system allows a few things to happen that I do think your missing.

    -Highly skilled/organized players may take on mindless zergs, By creating a deadly vendiagram you can aoe effectively without hurting teamates.

    -larger the zerg more chance it has to eat itself.

    -less aoe = less lag look at lowbie server.

    I guess no one expects ZOS to get something like that done, but I sure would play on that campaign with my guild.
    Outside Thorn, I can literally find only trains, and Thorn itself is full of them, too...
    I wouldn't even care wether I get ranks or any kind of reward, as long as I get enough potions...

    Yup, lootable gear would be great. Have to buy/craft new gear to re-enter campaign. EVE style.
    Would boost the economy for crafters.

    The server wouldn't be able to handle player collision. Also this is a troll paradise... deliberately getting in peoples way and even killing them... really?

    That would be great, maybe with a few tweaks here and there, but in general I just love the idea of different rule set campaigns, and different functions and goals. Variety is fun.

    Yes we need hardcore pvp I have had this idea in the back of my mind. All damage you do should damage everyone you hit by accident or not. This would add more skill to the game peroid and challenge all Players. Should you get killed by a friendly 3 times they should be booted for 15 min or so. That may sound rough but that is why it would be called hardcore.

    It would be pretty cool but I suspect it would take a lot of man hours to implement and there are a lot of other things I'd like to see done before that. That and if they were going to make a hardcore campaign, they'd have to do more than just what you suggested for it to feel like a big enough deal for me. Just a few ideas off the top of my head for hypothetical hardcore siege mechanics.

    -Increasing siege damage vs players.
    -Letting players carry only 1 piece of siege equipment at a time (load up on repair kits).
    -Making siege take longer to fire.
    -Making siege harder to aim (take a shot, see where it lands, adjust as needed).


    If they got around to it some day, sure I'd enjoy it.

    Concerning OP, more activities in Cyrodiil would be better than this :( Because it does not sound that much fun and they have considered those ideas (player collision) when creating the game and it did not make it.

    Friendly fire is not for MMORPGs.

    Perma-Death would be a bit much for me, especially with the state of the game right now ^^.
    But a good death penalty should be in for sure.
