Razer DeathAdder works pretty well for me. It's pretty cheap and 2 thumb buttons is all I can get my head around for most games.

Go to Office Depot or Best Buy or similar and put your hands on the mouse itself. Each one will feel a little different and the buttons on one may be easier for your manipulate than another one. Once you know, then buy it where ever you think you will get the best price (hint, Best Buy will match Amazon prices in store so print out those pages from amazon before you go there)

Now, that being said, do your self a favor and get a wired mouse no matter what you choose. You will have better gaming performance.

Personally, I use the Death Adder by Razor, but the Logitechs are nice mice too.

Tried this. They don't really carry gaming mice let alone MMO mice. Had to rely on online reviews and trying to gauge visually which option would work best for my hand and finger placement. Went with the Corsair Vengeance M95, which aside from a couple minor issuses has been great.

    1) Go to store to match how it feels
    2) Then be clear on your functional requirements (MMO mouse is worth getting used to)
    3) Then stay within solid brand names

The most important point and read carefully, ignore the cost. This is your friggin gaming mouse after all. What else could be more important?

These are not mice, but may get you more functionality. I use the Tartarus with my left hand, and a regular generic mouse in my right. (my hands are too small for gaming mice) I use the joystick for movement, and I have my 5 abilities, my ultimate, the "E" and "R" buttons for interaction, the "Q" button for potion use, rolldodge button, my push to talk button, the "X" button for synergy use, the jump button, and the weapon swap button all keybound to the Tartarus. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse (push it down) for sprint, and scroll up and back for zoom in and out. For me, this set up works very, very well.

The Tartarus fits small to medium hands. If you have medium to large hands, you could go with the Orbweaver, as it is bigger and has more buttons.

I love the Logitech g700, but am currently using the g600. It's a bit big at first, and the 12 buttons on the side take some getting used to. But having gotten used to it, it works great.

The Naga Hex someone recommended looks like it would work very well with ESO as well.

I 100% agree, try before you buy! I have small hands so most mouse configurations work for me, but I'm really particular about the location of the extra mouse buttons.

The buttons on the left side of the Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mousewere too close to each other and I always pressed the wrong button. The mouse only lasted 6 months of daily gaming use, but having a 3rd mouse button was nice.

I just tried the Logitech G502 Proteus Core 61 and I really like the two extra buttons next to the left mouse button, but they seem a bit flimsy to me.

Note that I don't have much faith in Logitech hardware because I went through five of their products in a two year period.

I tried the Redragon M901 PERDITION 36 in bestbuy, and it had a better configuration than the G600 in that I could easy tell what buttons that I was pressing without looking at the mouse, but I don't know much about the quality of the product.

I am currently using a Cyborg RAT 7, but it is also wearing out after a year of use.

The razer Deathadder has been my companion for more than 5 years, just got the newer version of it a few months ago, and I can only recommend it. I'm used to having my skills on the keyboard, so only 2 thumb buttons is a perfect fit for. I use them for the quickslot and roll dodge.

The main quality of this mouse is its ergonomy. I can spend hours and hours using it, my hand will never feel tired, and the mouse doesn't heat up either. I suggest checking it out :)

The g600 is awesome. It has a much better coating than the naga, especially if your hand sweats while gaming.
I personally love the thing, I never had to "feel" the mouse like others suggest. Watch some reviews and they'll usually cover all your concerns and questions.
The buttons on the side take some getting use to, but at least each button has a different feel to it, so you don't get confused which button is which.

DPI can go up to 8200 lol.
    It has 20 total buttons...
The only thing that bothers me is the far right click, I use to accidentally hit it because thats where ring finger sits. Although I never had anything set on the button. After using the mouse for a couple months though I no longer do that.

Dont choose mouse only basing your opinion wheter it has "gaming" label or not
In most cases its overpriced stuff and you just pay for "Gaming" label - thats how those companies make money. They make normal mouse, slap "gaming" label and double price.

Ask yourself a question, are you going to really use all those keys? Its good to try out mouses in store. I have a nice big mouse and i like how my fingers place on it. My friend bought different mouse and the keys are so close together i cant stand using it.

And yes for wired mouses. Its better to buy wired mouse than cheap wireless.

But for gaming I use the logitech G600 which admittedly for ESO is total overkill and those 12 side buttons really take some getting used to. :)

    Naga Hex is amazing!

I tried the 12 button version of the Naga but found there were just too many... the hex can have all 5 skills & your ulti on the side.... and then there's another button in the centre just near the main L/R buttons that fits just under your index finger... PERFECT for weapon swaps! :)

After coming from an 8+ year old Logitech MX518 mouse and moving to a Razer Naga (2014 revision), and then subsequently a Logitech G602 which I kept... I can't recommend the Logitech G602 highly enough. It's a substantial mouse with good build quality, the side buttons (six) have easily feelable shapes/slight ridges to quickly and intuitively know which buttons your thumb is on/near, and the two extra buttons on the edge of the left-mouse-button have turned out to be very useful in practice when gaming even though I originally was skeptical on them. All of the buttons have nice tactility to their switches.

The software is simple enough to set up and change profiles with and as a whole quite convenient. Back on the hardware end of things, the tracking (fully optical, as the G602 is not a laser mouse) is very accurate and does not err from quick movements. On a nice mousepad I have seen zero jitter in tracking during gaming or brief testing when I got the mouse originally. It has a nice, long battery life off of a pair of normal AA batteries, enough so that I haven't bothered setting it up with my own rechargeables. Also on a small side-note, the scroll wheel has a very good movement to it, with a small resistance on each "click".

Logitech's battery life claims seem to be pretty much spot on for me when running at 1650 DPI and a 500hz report rate wirelessly (the "performance" mode; it has an "endurance" mode you can use a switch to toggle readily, but I haven't felt a need to do so and stopped bothering after the first few days of using it). While it doesn't have any adjustable weighting system, the overall package is great, and it's relatively inexpensive compared to other ones I've looked at (I paid $45 on a sale, and though the MSRP I think is around $80-90 I have seen them crop up every now and then).
