I 100% hope they do NOT add alliance change. It would create so much imbalance between factions.

Imperial edition, you can make any race in any faction you want.
Well, it fits under 'Convenience'.
I'd rather not, but then again, I'm pretty sure they can do with it the same thing they did to Motifs, and likely will to race changes. Put it on cash shop, but at a adequate* price, like 8 or 10 thousand crowns. People who want it will still pay, and then they will shut up about it on the forums in the following weeks.
Also, 100 crowns for each visit to the barber shop ( face/body change ).
Plz.
Nah, too expensive... how about 5k crowns for any toon of any lvl up to 50, plus 500 every veteran rank?wrlifeboil wrote: »
If they did allow paid faction changes, the price to allow a person to change a VR14 to another faction should reflect the amount of time which would be needed to level a brand new character to that level. 100,000 Crowns?
When the game first launched I chose my first character as a DC Templar, then after a few weeks (2-3) I switched to an EP Dragonkight, trying things out since I didn't get to play the Beta. I found a really helpful awesome EP guild that I have been a part of since shortly after my EP character and have been playing with ever since. However, my DC Templar is way more enjoyable for me to play but I can't play that character with my EP guild for obvious reasons. My suggestion below.
I've played many MMORPG's and haven't been as satisfied with them as I am with ESO. I love this game, it has everything, almost. Besides the PVP/DUELING ideas I have, the reason for this post is the addition of an option to change Alliances. Whether it's VIA the crown store, or any other option (pay?). It can even have rules such as you can only switch alliances with each character ONE time, so make it count. I risk losing my EP guild because I can't transfer my DC character over. I would love to see this as an option in ESO. Shoot, I would even pay $20 or more to switch Alliances if I could!
You need someone to kill to farm AP. Dead campaigns = no AP. Furthermore, there could be a limit on faction changes to prevent constant swapping. Your argument doesn't stick.I 100% hope they do NOT add alliance change. It would create so much imbalance between factions.

Who said anything about jumping factions at will? That would indeed be nonsensical, but I've seen NOBODY asking for that. Also, anyone can get the Imperial Edition now, since it's been added to the Crown Store.Daemons_Bane wrote: »I preordered Imperial Edition, so I know that.. QFT. That is absolutely unreasonable. Yes, switching factions does provide the convenience of not having to level to VR14, but you know what? I have several characters that are in the early VRs that I'd like to bring over to my main faction. It's about playing the characters that I made and that I relate to, not just about saving a few weeks' grinding.wrlifeboil wrote: »If they did allow paid faction changes, the price to allow a person to change a VR14 to another faction should reflect the amount of time which would be needed to level a brand new character to that level. 100,000 Crowns?

You mean like they do already? It's the same as offering race changes, saves those that are going to do it anyway some time and gives ZOS some extra revenue. They would be stupid to not capitalize on these types of things.

Different factions, same story. I'd LOVE to see faction change allowed, even with hard limitations (must complete Cadwell's Gold, must be V14, may only change once per char or account, or whatever else they come up with). This is the thing that should have been in the Crown Store since it became available, instead of all the useless fluff. You need someone to kill to farm AP. Dead campaigns = no AP. 100,000 Crowns is reasonable. It costs $60 to boost a character to level 90 in WoW. That isn't even the maximum level (level 100 is the maximum) and it is much easier to level to 100 in WoW than it is to reach VR14 in ESO. The Crown store price should reflect that.
