As i am one of those who suffers of .1 second delay all the time (Ping about 120), i am curious to know how it is on youi side.

120ms ping shouldn't equate to a 1 second delay unless each command is making 5 full round trips?

Your client latency is more likely a result of how ESO processes data, not an actual lack of bandwidth or speed on the network.
Unfortunately, that's both the good news and the bad news.Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

On a good day 245 at the lowest, 90% of the time 260-310.
Still playable but lag is very much noticeable and I'm afraid to even try PvP. On contrast to Planetside 2 playing on US West server even though the ping pretty much the same i can still play semi competitive and its a FPS game lol.

If your ping is 120, then that's .1 seconds of delay. Not 1 second.
I play via a 4G connection (no dsl or cable in my area, or even wired phone!).
My ping is between 80-120ms on a good day.

Valymer✭✭✭✭✭more than 140One thing to keep in mind is that the latency reported in game also includes server processing time, so I don't think it's a good measure of your raw connection speed to the server. But since that is true for everyone, comparisons couldn't hurt I suppose.0

Yesterday, I had a great connection as it was around 90 most of day. Still got booted out of Cyrodiil 8+ times, once with a BSOD. ZOS owes me a stone treb because of one - if only there was a way to request one.0 -

Though the latency often feels like 1 second even while ping really is 100 to 150. Maybe spikes that the counter is not showing..
As a comparison, my World of Warcraft ping stands about 25 but its also totally different game. SWTOR in the other hand, works just like ESO, feels unresponsive and laggy plus the ping is about 100.>>PC-EU Mostly PVE. Played since BETA<<0 -

✭✭from 50 to 80Had to make a guess here. I guess that you refer to the value that is displayed in-game, and not to the ICMP Echo_Request roundtrip time (informally known as "ping"). The latter is at a constant 11 - 13 ms for me as a resident of Germany to the EU datacenter in Frankfurt/Main. In-game, the former value is around 50 for most of the time (non-Cyrodiil, non-group dungeon), with occasional spikes up to 150, depending on zone load, i.e. player activity.0 -

I´m getting around 50 to 60 ping in the mornings. Afternoon is usually 80+ the evenings is 200+++
All this is for pvp.<Noricum>

120 would be bloody nice. Here in NZ (South Island) its usually around 250-300, though last night it was an unplayable 900-1300, Worst I've seen on my connection was 14000 (and it wasn't my router).
