Who wants a follow option on the forums?

In addition to the ignore, a follow option would allow more efficient viewing of posts from specific people. This assumes a shortcut to our menu that brings these up in a list very much like we view favorites, participated and drafts. This poll is not advocating a follower counter BTW. Again, just a quick way to see for example what Gina, or Gidorick has posted recently.

I would much rather follow a discussion than a single person.

And you can do that by Bookmarking the thread (click the little star next to the title), then you can set up Notifications to tell when someone has responded to the thread. You can also have notifications on threads you have participated in without book marking it.

Now I have to figure out how to unbookmark this thread as I tried to to see how to set up all the options....

Edit, just click the star again to unbookmark

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I voted Broccoli as the official "I really don't care either way" option.

So far as Gina and other ZOS posters are concerned, Dev Tracker already covers that adequately for me. I have no interest in following any other particular poster's comments, rather I post in topics that are of interest to me and read what everyone has posted there. Sometimes the same names crop up, other times not. I don't have any favourites I want to follow any more than there is anyone I'd choose to ignore.

I would vote yes, if I could have a setting that would make me unfollowable.

Surprised as to the non-broccoli responses so far, as it's pretty popular way to follow on YouTube and blogs. In picking on @Huntler for an example... His posts and comments are both entertaining and more importantly to me informative because he only speaks to topics he has a solid grasp on vs. others that may repeat the last thing they heard/read. Whereas @P3ZZL3 always has something uplifting to say, @MornaBaine is solid on RP and other key topics, @Teargrants is almost always hilarious... The list goes on...

Having this option doesn't remove the options that exist today.

Yep, and I've shortcuts to those I like to follow, but this is not as user friendly as a rolled up view.
