Yep. 10% boost means 1.27 million less XP to get from V1 to V14.

lmao. You mean supporting the game like many of us did for over a year with a sub and didn't get close to what was promised but instead got a bait and switch/paid console beta test? You really think supporting the game translates into "developing and improving the game"? Well 12+ months of supporting the game got us broken Cyrodiil, a year with no content updates and a concerted effort to get us to buy trinkets in a cash shop when they previously promised nothing like that would happen. Your sub now will likely be going to cash shop R&D to figure out new and improved ways to coerce you into purchasing things in the cash shop. I'm continuing to subscribe because for me the game hasn't changed one iota. I'm not interested in any of the items in the crown store, but I want to carry on supporting the company. What other people can or do buy in the crown store is of no concern to me as I don't PvP or play competitively.

I've been taking the game slowly since launch and am still levelling up my characters with plenty left to do for a good while to come, so any delay in additional content isn't an issue. I've had little in the way of performance issues or bugs so I don't regard ESO as anything other than an excellent game that is giving me a lot of fun. As I say, the game hasn't changed for me as a result of the business model change, hence I am happy to keep my multiple month sub going.

You can buy $1,500 crowns for $15. And actually more at a discount...

So you really need to take the crowns out of the equation. Because realistically you could make a 1500 crown purchase each month for $15 and spend the same.

All you get right now is a 10% XP boost and a warm fuzzy feeling for donating to a developer that hasn't release any quality content in 9+ months.

I did that for a year.

They didn't release any content for 9+ months. And actually since Craglorn was supposed to be in at release, but got delayed they haven't really release ANY new content to the game.

So.. I'm not sure what "developing" you're talking about. I guess if you're talking about "developing a console version" then you can feel good knowing you funded the Console Release.

NO! Please no priority queue. Its bad enough that I tested out subbing and the %10 exp boost is Pay to Win enough that I now have a lv 14 completionist char still doing lv 10 quests. Its even gives a noticeable increase leveling boost for my vr 4 char. We don't need any more Pay to win unfair advantages for the game.

Do you even know what p2w is?... go play neverwinter or archeage then come back and with a straight face tell me there is even one iota of p2w gameplay here

Fiscally it's probably wiser to just wait it out until after console release to see how much the DLC's cost in crowns Vs the sub. Then there's the concept of how significant is the DLC content (can you just burn through it in a week or so etc). It will be interesting to see how significant the content will be and how often it will be released.

Basically this.
I asked that same question OP a few weeks back and ultimately unsubbed since I was very unhappy with the Cyrodiil Thorn NA performance.
