Cosmetics outside of the Crown store?

I know there are the little shirts and things you can get from stealing but what about other mounts or pets ? Yes various quests give you costumes that take up bank space (and I honestly forget about).. but maybe every so often could we get a mount or pet you can earn in the game? >_> I know I know they are just skins but I like collecting things like this in mmo's

This would be awesome

Both earning it (mount or pet) and buying it would be great.
Different/additional mounts at the stables, or even better, new stables like a "Guar Paradise" or "Senche Arena" (just example names^^), and chicken/cat/dog/pig pets we can buy directly from a farmer.
And maybe some new quests to earn a mount.

There is a pet that you can earn in game, the Mechanical Spider.

Lots of mounts could be earned in-game too, it relies on you saving the gold you earn to purchase them, though.

That's true, but it's only horses atm, and in my case, I have all of them already. I need more Guars^^

You can earn costume and pets in the game but no i would not expect additions to this because thats one of their new revenues of money.

that is one pet.. and I already bought all of the horses ... ^^;

I'd love achievement ones. Even if they are hard to earn achievements. I just know I like collecting cosmetics and such in the games but there is a very limited number to collect. i also understand they need to bring in money but they could toss one or two out every so often. Maybe with the expansion we could get a few?

I would be happy enough if they added costume-only versions of all disguises and other im-game appereance changes (like, say, the "dunmer cultural garb" you get to put on for a short quest greeting pact representatives in windhelm, or the "party clothes" you can see yourself wearing in the greenshade memory modification quest...).
And then replaced all disguises with their costume version (kept in the costume tab) upon completion of the matching quest.

Then I finally could have the looks for roleplaying support, and not have them clog my inventory, and the game would not need any entanglement between mere visuals and the "disguise" effect...

I don't expect them to ever add much outside the crown store, with the new BtP&CS model they have to earn their profit, they wouldn't be likely to go there, spend effort and developer costs on things to give out "for free". We should be happy enough the dyes are earned in-game and not sold like in other games I could mention...
