64-bit versions of operating systems such as Windows Vista and Windows 7 are not automatically faster than their 32-bit counterparts. In some cases, they may even perform slower because of the larger pointers as well unrelated OS overhead.

But please make a 64x bit client.
Sincerely, Everyone playing ESO.
At the risk of sounding like a noob, here's my question. My computer is considered "outdated" at the moment, however I can play eso on medium resolution at the moment. I really didn't know eso only had a 32bit client lol, but would moving to a 64bit client make a difference for people like me, who don't have rigs capable of running next gen games?

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to wait for it's release before I know whether or not I'll see a plus or minus to my own computer's in-game performance. I hate not knowing, but I don't have much of a choice.
64bit is coming.....soon
