Is this still on the table, or has it been permanently canceled? If so, why?
Thanks!

That is hardly a great time table! Basically it means possibly at some point, maybe.
No, what they were saying is deciding to focus 100% on console release and delaying all new content on PC until AFTERWARD is a horrible idea, not the fact that the devs were telling us that was their plan.@Zheg I'm actually playing the xbox version myself, or will be soon enough, so I don't mind so much. Still though, transparency would be nice. I'm not sure why exactly they think being honest and forth coming about their decisions is such a horrible idea.

that is essentially what they have said.
They have also said there will be no new content in general until after the console released is stable, which basically means no content until 2016, and then they HAVE To add the last two major guilds (thieves and DB) and the Imperial City since they promised those all the way back during beta.

That is just absurd. OF COURSE there will be content this year. Imagine how many customers they would lose on PC if they left us without content for almost a year, that is just bad business, and this is business after all.

they have OUTRIGHT SAID there will be no new content until after console is settled, the console is RELEASED already near the end of the year, os we know FOR A FACT that there will be NO new content until near the end of the year. they also said AFTER it has already been settled, which means another couple months after that, which means, yes, it is unlikely for us to g
Business, maybe, but when has half the stuff they have done made sense from a common sense perspective, let alone a business one?
I'm perfectly okay with them focusing all resources on the console release, after all, this what will generate the most revenue for the game and ultimately propel it to success. However, I would appreciate it if they gave us an in-depth preview of what's to come afterwards. A lot of us are getting bored in the meantime.
I wouldn't expect anything more in this game that Zenimax can't turn a quick buck on tbh. I hope I'm wrong but based on how Zenimax has been since release it's almost a "sure bet" that nothing like this will ever happen in this game.

Will spellcrafting still be an added feature in the near future ?

Yes this is something that we're still planning to add to the game.

They don't really have a lot of customers left on the PC platform, so there's not that much to lose. Most players are not paying the subscription any longer, and even if they get some DLC out soon, a lot of people will probably have a stash of free crowns to spend, so the first DLC on the PC platform would not generate any useful amount of cash for them. ZOS know exactly how many customers they have, and how many crowns they have saved.
I think it might be a sound business decision to simply give up on the PC version and focus all their efforts on the consoles. It sucks big time for us PC/Mac players, but there may not be enough of us to really matter any more.
Like many people, I want this in game.
I'm not just a gamer. I'm a customer and from a customer's point of view, they look like they are trying to manage something bigger than them. Like they don't have enough workers to get the job done. They really need to change this impression ASAP with new systems + SPELLCRAFTING + Justice system's pvp side + Thieves and DB etc.
ZoS, make a great quakecon show and secure your reputation, please.

I also get this distinct feeling based upon my time following the game (since before PC launch) and playing (since console launch).
Perhaps when they get the console version on solid ground, it will get better, but ever since the console delay, I have had this same feeling you are describing.
Lack of serious discussion from the ZOS staff only adds to it.
