I'm really sorry for the delay of answer, we have been quite busy lately.

We are well aware of the feedback regarding the chat on console and even though it will probably not be available at the release, but this is something we are considering thanks to the feedback from the players as you just did.
Regarding your second question, there is no plan to remove the text chat from the PC version so you don't have to worry about it

I believe he was talking about on Eso live that happen last week. The stated they were going to have quick text menu that was not in the console beta build but is going to be in launch.

I trade by using a trading guild and the guild traders. I stop trading by chat since launch. Its going be even trading this way now I do not have to worry about people selling items for ridiculous low prices in text chat.

I'm in five trade guilds with excellent guild trader kiosk locations. 30/30 items listed on all five guilds, selling about 25 items each day across the five guilds. I'm still overflowing with stuff to sell and I only play like 3 hours a day. Resorting to text chat is all I can do.

Hey there defcon, haven't seen you since the Console Beta forums. As I recall you didn't have access to these forums since you didn't own the PC version.

I have to know: Did they already do something that now allows console only players in, or did you buy the PC version?

I guess console players don't roleplay? I know RP CAN be done via voice chat, after all that's pretty much how it was done back in the pen and paper days when you were all in the same room. But I know that I would not want to lose the ability to emote in a written format, which has much more potential for creativity and expression.
