This a video showing some of the burst that a Stamina Nightblade can currently do...Please not that i die a metric ton so i'm not just murdering people without dying..But I still feel burst like this shouldn't be possible in this game...

I state that the burst in this video is insanely to much...and you think I've revealed the real reason I complain about Sorcs...completely ignoring that I was playing my DK before this complaining about Sorcs.....

TTK is way way to low in this game... The burst in this game is way to high..And Sorcs are Overpowered with their Shields....

They should balance those things.

Jesus jiminy crickets on a crumb he hits hard. I've watched him global players like Leper Si (shields up), Rage O Saurus, Sypher, and others that I consider to be excellent 1v1 players.

He doesn't even have any weapon attacks on his bars. He has Rally from 2H and the rest are just NB skills, heavy attacks plus attacking from stealth, and super high weapon damage.

All nightblades you just mentioned didn't have to put any point in survivability/substain. They can just go all in pure glass cannon and you won't be able to kill them in most scenario because of multiple reasons such as fast speed after dodge rolling, etc etc. This is the magic of a stamina build. The more attributes, passives, points, gear bonus, enchants, food, potions you put into stamina, the more damage you do and the the longest you can dodge roll totally nullifying any incoming damage pretty much except a few exception such as whip, and then if you pop an invisibility potion after your killing, it totally counters every detection in the game (including detection potions).

This is the reason why I keep insisting that dodge rolling / cc breaking / sprinting / bashing / sneaking should be in a different ressource bar. Otherwise, enjoy getting 2shotted by invincible nightblades coming out of stealth in small group play if you forget to keep your shields &/or evasion up for that time being.

I actually don't run super high Weapon Damage with this setup...I could add around 500 more weapon damage I think...

Yeah last time I ran into Rage we decimated a whole group of reds outside the walls of a Keep. *** kept sniping and killing every person I engaged and then automessaged me with some absurd 30K+ DPS damage figures on the kill.

Clearly Sorcs need nerfed however.

If this is good burst then the standards must have really dropped. Half the people you don't even kill in the opener... not saying ur a bad player, maybe you just have weak gear.

Since 1.6 the TTL/TTK ratio in this game is seriously out of whack. If I wanted to play a 1 shot shooter, I'd be playing CS:GO.

Or more likely I'd have Goldeneye with 1 Hit Slappers up and doing shots for every time you killed or were killed. That'd be a hell of a lot more fun.

As it is, they really, really need to adjust survivability. Go play in BWB and go back to the Vet campaigns. Night and day and the fun factor difference is noticable as well.

I want fights were there's some actual tactics by each side needed, not spamming your instagib rotation as you go from target to target while dodge rolling. I don't want people to live forever based off some flawed defense mechanic or defenses stacked three deep where the instagib is even necessary to get through them, but they should NEVER be dying as quick as they are right now to one player.

Stealth should be an advantage where, if used right, you have a starting advantage to a fight with a weakened enemy -- but if the enemy is a good player with skills that surpass yours, you should still have a chance of losing.

But that's a perfect world, and that's a different company than this one. :P

I still don't understand why they thought it was a good idea to Nerf health from +50% to +10% a stat. That single change more than any other really screwed up the PvP in this game.

Completely agree with you.

We were complaining that TTK was too short in 1.5. It's... dumb now. If anything is going to drive me back out of this game, it's going to be that. As it is, I'm working on a NB that's patterned in my own way after Kerviz. Once he levels out of the Kiddie Campaign (gotta get those Assault/Support ranks, yo), it'll be off to the grinding to get through the VRs as fast possible.

Lots of these insta kills were on vamps which imo doesn't count since its a guild ability doing it. Also its all sneak attacks. If you can do this in open combat (overload) then you might have an argument for something being op. Lots also were on completely unaware players, if they knew you were there and had say three shields stacked, you would not have been able to take em out.

Just keep all that in mind before you go trying to get night blades nerfed, montages can make anything look op. I do think one nerf to help balance nb a bit would be to make werewolves ALWAYS take extra damage because lord knows every nb in the world is one because of the lack of downsides. Ive noticed camo hunter doesn't highlight them when they aren't changed, so I can only assume this means the downsides dont kick in until they change. Yet they get all the bonuses outside of it! A few camo hunter one shots would cull the pack quite nicely.

your missing the point, in WoW everyone used to complain cos from stealth a rogue could stun lock you to death in a few seconds. you were dead before you could do anything.. those complaints were justified i think we can all agree.

However why is that less bad than being dead instantly before you can react? just because you,re not stunlocked is besides the point. if your dead before you can do anything something is wrong.

Ive been vocal in saying sorcs need balancing. that remains the case. sorcs with shields up are the only class who have a chance to survive that sort of burst. It's also part of the reason everyone is building to get as much burst as possible, in order to counter the sorcs shields.

but 2 wrongs don't make a right. As someone else already mentioned , if i wanted to play a game like that with one shot kills all over the place i'd play destiny and run around with my shottie, where at least everyone is on the same page. If this sort of play isnt nerfed (sorc stacking and NB stealth burst both) in a few months all thats gonna be seen in cyrodiil is sorcs and NB's

After watching the video, it's obvious you are fully glass cannon almost and even if you are not it's worse. You don't take damage very well, and run out of stamina often even though people want others to believe you can dodge roll forever.

Edit: I also recommend using Soul Harvest over that other crap morph. You will have Soul Harvest up more after a kill and be able to re-stealth for another burst down.

100% Agree. I´d take any sorc nerf if they´d remove stealth gameplay as a whole in return. It´s not balanceable and it´s not fun for the non stealth player.
