Hi ZOS,

In our local game forum it is saying that there will be a Chinese language ESO released on 2015-6-30, can you officially confirm with that information? There are hundreds of players waiting for the news to decide from buying English version on 6.9 or waiting for the Chinese version on 6.30!!!!!

Thanks!

I personally doubt that such news would be brought out this late and also not on official sources (this website).

I hope you get an official reply, but till then I recommend being very cautious bout this.
An (official) chinese release is tricky cause that the chinese government wants some national laws upheld in any internet communication format where their citizens participate in. Those specific laws are considered controversial through the european and northern american eyes. Thats why not many NA/EU mmo's release in china and vice versa. If they do release in China, it is almost always licensed to a chinese company.

Even just a chinese language version can be considered a chinese release where the chinese government decides that chinese laws should work for them.

I'm not against a chinese release at all, but considering the trouble around it, it requires a lot of work and I would expect a much bigger announcement.

    Hey there @everyer,

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is supported in English, French, and German. We do not currently have plans for a Chinese language release.
