Ok. so Lyris is meant to be a half-giant due to her father. So... Why in the main story mission where she talks to her fathers ghost IS SHE TALLER THAN HIM? Surely she should be smaller than him but still larger than most people sooooo. ? If this was people being forgetful then please, it would be nice for characters to make sense. :)

Her father wasn't a giant. He just had the blood of giants within him. So she has the blood of giants within her.

So he was a dirty half-breed as well? Confused.

    According to this:

    http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Lyris_Titanborn

She's a "Nord half-giant". Her father's page only speaks of him being a Nord and there is not much info on her mother. The most logical explanation would be that her mother is a Giant (or part). However, they could always go down any path with it if this is something they wish to expand on.

Edit: While that would be most logical, apparently that isn't the case. Her father does indeed have Giant's blood and even though they don't show her mother or talk about her much, her father does say she's a Nord.

I seem to remember the conversation between Lyris and her father where her father stated he had the blood of giants flowing through him. This is why he blamed himself for his wife's (mother of Lyris) death. This would lead one to believe that the giant came from him.

Actually yes he does say that, after my post I loaded up an alt on my significant other's account that was up to that part (rescuing Lyris). He does indeed say that (this is the first time I really sat and listened to it lol). So it may be one of those "skip a generation" things. Although logic seems to have flown out the window, given his appearance it would make more sense with her mother being the giant since they don't show her but of course.. not the case LOL. Still though, Lyris rocks.

@nastuug You need to place it before the quote and at the end of your reply for two of your previous posts or people can still read spoilers/semi-spoilers lol. I just went back and did this myself.

@ViciousWayz I actually chose to sacrifice Sai Sahan during the final story quest so I could watch Lyris suffer more. Hated that woman. >=)
