I think it would ruin the basic idea of this game but I wanted to hear people's opinions about this.Now that the Crown Store is here, would you pay crowns for a lag free Cyrodiil?

✭✭✭✭✭No, I would not.Putting aside the issue that if it was as easy as throwing some money at it, we would likely already have a lag-free Cyrodiil, I wouldn't pay extra for a campaign that was lag-free even if that was a possibility. I've got a couple of reasons for that.
First, I don't really PVP (although I was doing a couple of PVE quests in Cyrodiil earlier today, and when I was done I did have fun hiding outside a keep and ganking a few enemy players as they left - my only real goal was to get killed for the free teleport on res, but I did manage to kill 4 enemies before I got killed, and I actually did kind of enjoy it).
Second, even if I did PVP I feel like the idea of paying extra for your game to actually work properly is insulting. Paying extra for additional content, or cosmetics, and such I'm OK with. Paying extra for what is essentially a bug fix, I'm not.

1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.0 -

I feel like the lag experience has been getting better in all honesty. But it's still not good enough and it's not something that should be a premium feature.0 -

No need to pay anything; its been a year and the coders simply cannot actually fix the lag issue. The concept of the 'megaserver' is a joke, as its not really a single server, due to phasing. Its many servers in layers and the players have the ability to move between layers, giving us the illusion its one big happy server. The reality is that cryodil is not layered and their poor code simply cannot handle that many players on a single server chunk at one time, hence the lag. You can make as many polls as you like, but no amount of money can cure inept coding.0 -

The only time I get the so called lag is when a campaign is pop locked for all factions... When that happens, I go to a less populated campaign... I suggest others do the same. Recently, even with a lot of 'havoc' and chaos in battles, things have been running really good as of late...
Now if only the mount dismount bug would go away...

I would, yes. And I'll even go one more step and say I would pay 12 USD/month for a subscription only server as well.
