In 1.6 I alredy lvled up second NB, becous my first one was Argonin, and they nerfed him into oblivion, alredy lvled up second templar, becous my first one was a breton and he can't be competitive as a dps with imperials or redguards.
PLEASE ADD RACE CHANGE!!! I CAN"T WAIT FOR IT!!!
Cmon abs, don't be lazy

It's an unnecessary distraction from other more pressing development work, and is a further erosion of the structure of a game when no decision you make carries any responsibility with it because you can always change it later. It also leads inevitably to FOTM templates which get changed every major update so people are never really satisfied for long, and the diversity of characters is lost.

I see no reason to be against race changes personally.
If they aren't getting kicked for that reason now, they won't be getting kicked for it even after race changes.
No one is going to be that unreasonable.
It makes no sense my khajit cant grow scales also it would break the 3 race per alliance thin g

Man I am tired of hearing this. My character's racial passives no longer match my build and play style anymore and it has nothing to do with any decision I made and EVERYTHING to do with changes zos made. Please stop with this ridiculous finger pointing.
All these excuses to keep race changes out of the game are petty.

As has been pointed out again and again, if you don't want to change your race, allowing others to do so only benefits you - more money in the ZOS kitty with zero impact on you. All this crap about 'pressure to change your race to compete' won't affect you, because hey you picked your race for the back story so will take the moral high ground and rise above said pressure..
I don't get what a race change would accomplish except allowing min-maxers to all become one or two races. This feature really seems like it would be ripe for abuse, from players and from ZOS. What would prevent ZOS from regularly "rebalancing" classes to "encourage" players to pay to change their race?
I think it's more important for ZOS to balance race passives than it is to allow for race change. If they were to offer race change I would personally prefer most racial passives to be removed so that race is little more than a cosmetic choice, but I really don't want that either.
For example, in FF14, i originally was a human male Conjurer, but i did not like the way he looked after a while, and also wanted to make a elf one. So i changed his race to the Ellavan (the elven race ingame). had no effect on gameplay for me or anyone else, but you would be surprised how many people do it simply cause they want to be a different race.

I like that some choices are permanent, and your race should really be the most permanent of your permanent choices. If you do introduce race changes, then people will likely start asking for class changes as well... after all, your class seems to hold less permanence than your race, so why not?
... And if you absolutely must introduce race (and possibly class) changes, please make them cost a ton of crowns.
EDIT: To clarify, Option 4 means you want a race change because ZOS changed racials drastically or you want one IF ZOS changes racials drastically.

It would take max a month of playing to get right back to VR14 if you really want to. What is so horrible about having to play an RPG like an RPG? Choices need to matters on at least some level.
