I think a lot of you would be singing a different tune if it was YOUR VR14 character that was effected by developmental changes.

WOW, really? So every time ZoS puts something in the Crown Store you don't want, everyone who does want it should be punished?
There should just be two options in the poll:
1. I am an Imperial
2. I want to be an Imperial

Which comes to my point about not wanting them to do race changes. Its a cop out, not only from us, in the sense that we have given up on them ever properly balancing the game, but a cop out for them if they do it. We input ideas and demands on one another don't we, player and company. Think clearly about what you're asking for and what you want. I've eventually left quite a few games not because I hated those games, but because greed and bad motivators ruined those games. I had no problem giving STO money for instance, when they actually produced content and the game was more or less balanced (albeit flawed). When the game became all about throwing money at it, and nothing to do with actually enjoying the world with player skill and knowledge... that was the problem. If money solves all problems, its a terrible game, period. I paid a subscriber fee to enjoy a good quality world. Its more entertaining than watching Game of Thrones, or whatever the kids are into these days, because I'm actively doing something. I'm willing to pay developers money, when they actually deliver on service. If the rewards they receive suddenly become unrelated to providing that service, then my rewards (The cash I give them) also ceases as well. The Crown store is all well and good, but if it becomes totally divested from a service based system, it can and will ultimately ruin the game. That is my concern. This is a Quid Pro Quo here. Demand what you want from the company as a customer. If you don't get what you really want, don't pay for it. Understand the point here?

Unless you are what ZoS changed you into w/o your consent. Then you are what ZoS turned you into - a sub optimal character.
Lore isn't a huge part of the game for me. I chose racials last year that matched the build I envisioned at the time in order to make an efficient build. That no longer applies through no fault of my own.
I WANT RACE CHANGE!!!! I'M FED UP WITH LEVELING NEW CHARACTERS FROM PATCH TO PATCH, DEPENDING ON WHICH BUILDS (MAGICKA OR STAMINA) AND RACEC THEY MAKE SUPERIOR!
In 1.6 I alredy lvled up second NB, becous my first one was Argonin, and they nerfed him into oblivion, alredy lvled up second templar, becous my first one was a breton and he can't be competitive as a dps with imperials or redguards.
PLEASE ADD RACE CHANGE!!! I CAN"T WAIT FOR IT!!!
The idea of a one time freebie change due to ZoS's *ahem* "balance" attempts is a reasonable idea. Outside of that, what's "ok with you" or not is moot. If enough Players want the feature then ZoS will probably add it at some time and you are perfectly free not to use it. Other Players using it does NOT IN ANY WAY effect your game play.xMovingTarget wrote: »I would rather have em offer a free one time race change for affected ppl. That would be okay with me. But nothing else.
