You people are still making the same mistakes that cost you half of your player base and forced this game to go free to play, I'm not going to list all the issues because every one already knows them, that being said here is my problem.

I want to change my email address but oh no Zos in their infinite wisdom still refuses to allow players to do this on their own, You force us to send you a support ticket to get PERMISSION to change the email address for an mmo account.

And you know support tickets take for ever but hey guess what I can't even send one in you want to know why?

Well this game went free to play a couple weeks before my birthday, so a relative of mine decided to get it for me,

" Oh yeah that's great but that doesn't explain why you can't send in a support ticket... "

It sure does because once again zos sent in an employ that clearly got slapped one too many times with the wabbajack and forces us to send two forms of verification of ownership on the account to even be able to send a support ticket in.

Well guess what zos I didn't buy the game it was a gift to me, so no I don't have the credit card associated with the account, and no I never used my paypal to buy any thing from you.

All I have is my address and secret questions but apparently that isn't enough for you, the sad thing is you wonder why the majority of your game rage quit, and why countless people still are.

Well Zos the answer to that question is, Because of things like this No I realize you're going to remove this thread because any one that says any thing that goes against you is just horrible and you guys can't handle it but guess what it will exist long enough for other people to read so they can see they aren't alone.

If by some chance some one normal works for you and actually wants to do their job, please help me change my email before I have a stroke.

    IMO, ZOS should reuse some of their account scrutiny skills on the forum account screening process.

    Sounds like it's a pretty effective way of countering account sales though, or at the most being a PITA to do.

    Sad for people in a legitimate position like yourself are harmed by this however.

    It was certainly intended to be thread-relevant. My point was that ZOS is extreme on their scrutiny of account changes, but not so on the public forum side (there was somethings I was implying with my initial statement as well). My wife had to go through same process as you did. No it was not fast or enjoyable to say the least.

    I sincerely believe ZOS wants to have good customer service. But it doesn't always reflect in their actions and unfortunately we're pissing off players at best because of this and worse losing them permanently.

    I know that I've had premium service and interactions with CS and others the complete opposite. Such things are unfortunately common with new organizations and the processes they create. As an organization ZOS really only has 1-2 years behind them. And contrary to what others may believe, just because you are a spin-off of a mature organization, join-venture of two mature organizations or some hybrid of that, migrating refined processes and the employee culture that keeps them that way, is not easy.

    None of this changes that we should still expect good service. Anyway, back to the real and much more fun game itself.
