One could argue that you could use this as a reason to sub-hop until desired training level has been acquired. I don't see a reason to offer anything like this for subscription models.

It's a neat idea imo. I just realized there wasn't much of a reason for me to stay subbed since it's not looking like there going to be any significant content updates for PC for a while at least. Even with a 2 training aspect/ day I wouldn't see myself saying ooh, thats a great reason to sub. Content is really the driving force here imo.

Heh. I'm totally in the minority on this one. I like the once a day deal. In fact, I think they should up the cost of feeding your mount/skilling up your riding each time you partake.

Much as they do with expanding bags and banks. Just far smaller amounts.

True, we only got 50 points per horse, but you could buy 3 horses and train them concurrently. In less than 2 months, you could have maxed horses. Now, I like the current system better. It's an improvement having all 3 attributes apply no matter what you mount. But I think the trade-off was a little heavy since it more than triples the time needed to fully train mount skills. It's discouraging to realize it will take 6 months for full training, and then only if you log in every day and train. It also makes it harder to delete characters. I have a few alts that are mostly mules right now. Yet I train mount skills daily on them. That will be a bonus if I play them in the future, but a liability if I scrap them. I think there need to be other options or approaches for training mount skills. Unfortunately, I can see Crown $tore opportunities here, but I hope that never comes to pass.

I like the 1/day feeding thing, but I feel that once you've already got a max skill of 60 on one character, it should then become easier to raise that particular skill for other characters.

So if you've got 60 in speed on your main and you're starting in on an alt, maybe you can put 2/day or 3/day into speed (but not stamina or capacity, unless you've got a character with those maxed out).

I'd like to see something like that. Your expert rider is basically helping to train your other character faster.
