DKs nerfed way too hard in 1.6. Templars = jack of all trades and OP.

    To be honest... I kind of like the idea of warrior DK, mage Sorc, hybrid NB and all rounder Templar.
    That would kind of mean you would take DK, Sorc, NB into group PVE situations but use Templars in PVP for one on one.
    But that would have left out Templars from Group activity right ?

    I guess the combat question is....
    Would DK + Sorc + NB = 3x Templars in PVP or PVE?
    The Templars are powerful in their own right, the others more situational.
    But the others combined would surely make up for any situational inadequacies ?

    Anyway, I like the way the balance has been shifted... far more than I did under the reign of the all powerful DK in 1.5.
    I shed not one tear for DKs in 1.6
    I spent too much time being spammed by talons, rooted, batswarmed and standarding my arse with no ability to CC break or dodgeroll....wings out if you attack from range.
    That's all you come up against in PVP (ex Emps) as they know its so damn OP combo.
    Personally I would just avoid the buggers....but you don't get keeps and resources that way.

    At the same time they buffed Templars even more (what? they were already strong).

    Templars on PTS are:
    The best healers.
    The best DPS (and they are not limited to melee range, they can choose..)
    The best tank.
    The new execute ability is so unbalanced its a joke.


    Balance 1.6 please, before everyone has rerolled templar..

    Best Tank is WRONG
    New Execute: Didnt u test anything yet? The old executioners like the one from 2hander etc. THEY ALL HIT WAY HARDER
    Best Healers... Sure

    U better doe some research before u open ur but thole again.

    TBH I think not much will change and people are too optimistic that the changes/nurfes were done accurately:

    - Reflective Scales still works 4 times and WILL be SPAMMED, so they just hit the button 1x more time, but 4 reflects is still VERY decent and if spammed correctly (right skills in btw) it will still be a reflection fest that you can't imagine...
    - Ultimates are beeing nurfed but you still can enter fights with ultimates at 100%, btw players will find new strategies to do so (pve-npc before fight)
    - Burning Talons will still be spammed making the DK the KEY-figure in every larger PvP fight, giving them some kind of "warlord-role" in all larger (strategic) battles.
    - The Removal of Caps + new CP-skills will further strenghten "mitigation / defense" builds which will perfectly synergize with the Burning Talons Spam, so nothing will change in the battlefield, just some skills will be switched

    Dk is balanced. Not nerfed. They got brought into line where they should be. Wish i could say the same for my sorc.

    Sorc is fine with little champ points spent. But magica builds get worse with the amount of cp spent whereas stam builds get stronger or atleast don´t suffer in the same way magica does.
    Primarily cause of the 25% dmg-decreases (magic, elemental, poison/desease) that are skillable and are additive with the cyrodiil debuff. You loose 45% of your tooltip dmg before any armor mitigation is even applied.
    Still don´t understand completely how spells in cyrodiil can get reduced by 80% regarding their tooltip value without any active defenses (no block or anything - just passive dmg reduction).

    I don't think DK has any DPS issues.. the only problem with magicka builds is light armor being nerfed.
    Lets face it..its a new game and you need to plan things better.

    Ty. Yesterday I met a guildy who still thought that the VR-experience he's doing with his twink will be converged into CP points. :disappointed:

    Meanwhile, the (DK) players on the PTS which already have found out new mitigation/armor/block-spec's will brightly smile. These spec's must be working so well, that they even won't report on the forums (in fear of nurfs).
    I hope ZOS will have a closest (!) look at defensive builds as well for DKs as for Templars.

    Sad to say I agree, when I see a DK now its free kill. Frag Shard bubble. If I see wings (who could miss it lol) I just heavy attack for 3 seconds then repeat, they can't keep wings up forever and can't really do any damage to me :)
