Not priority. But a new Megaserver for those who pay sub only. Joint EU and US.
Less players but much headache gone.

I'd even pay more in sub for that.

Uh no... I want to play with my buddies that don't want to play, too so an new Megaserver would be only another seperation of the playerbase. In addition you will never get EU and US on a single Megaserver, no matter what your purpose may be - lag is already hitting me hard enough, no need for me to play on a US server as a EU player or the other way round.

Well if the 10% XP boost for $2/day is not enough incentive for players, then this might do the trick and with less hate than XP boosts.

My issue is the assumption that those who do not subscribe somehow pay less than you do, when this is pretty much pure speculation.

PS) I'm a subscriber and have been since Early Access, and paid for 2 accounts up until TU launched. I should get into Cyro twice as fast as the rest of you peasants. ; )

Who are the "peasants" you speak of? And who's speculating now?

Do you know me? Do you know how long I've had my account? Did you know I was also playing pre-release, that I pre-ordered the game (Imperial)? Do you know how long I've even had my subscription?

By "self-entitled scrub" I'm referring to those who lounge around in game, who don't invest, who don't pay cash to play but yet think they have some sort of vested interest and that they're entitled to guide and direct changes based on such experience.

As I said- if the shoe fits... and if it doesn't, perhaps you need to re-evaluate your assumption.

Again- as I said, you can make a suggestion (additive or counter) but I haven't seen one yet.

Strange, disagreeing w/ you is trolling? Okay.

You're the one who posed a question about "those who pay" and "those who don't", and I said that I don't feel that it's so cut and dry, because this thread is very clearly aimed at subscribers only.

You seem to think that I'm talking to you personally because I quoted your post, which was simply the most recent at the time in a string of parroted sentiment that those who are not subscribing are somehow not contributing to the development of the game.

I don't really care if my opinion is the unpopular one; I still felt that it needed to be pointed out that simply because a player chooses not to subscribe, they can still contribute to the game through cash shop purchases which can potentially add up to more than a monthly subscription w/ ease.

See, I thought it was pretty obvious that I was being silly w/ my "peasant" comment and don't actually feel that way (most especially since every single one of my posts has been the exact opposite of that tact and added a silly face, but hey, internet.), but you (and many others in this thread) most definitely come across as having a serious "us and them" mentality about the whole subscription scenario.

I don't share that feeling. I feel that if you paid for the game, you're in the same boat as everyone else, subscribing or not. There are other ways to contribute to the game is all I'm really saying, and those who don't do so in your preferred manner shouldn't have a lesser experience simply because their choice wasn't your choice.

Another poster mentioned a "priority queue" token that could be sold in the Crown Store for those who aren't subscribers, and I feel that is a perfectly elegant solution that keeps all parties happy, no matter HOW they choose to contribute.

I won't enter the discussion about who is worth being called a supporter of the game and who isn't, so I will just comment on the token-stuff.

Well, I doubt this makes much sense as this would need way more dev time to implement and may not be implemented in a satisfactional way for us players at all in my opinion.
They'd have to build an extra item having mechaics that are not in the game anywhere else right now as the item would have to be consumed for a pure technical purpose, right?

When will the item be consumed?
At the beginning of the queue?
At the end when you enter the campaign?
What happens if you get stuck in loading screen? How ill the game recognize this and compensate your possible loss?

Making a priority queue bound to subscription should be pretty easy:

Instead of sorting the queue by entry date and time, just sort the queue by ESO+ status and take date and time after that. Simple as that, shouldn't be more than a couple of minutes effort and I am saying this as being a software developer myself.

Having an item granting you the same mechanism based on a consumable item will be hard to implement because of ESO's or Cyrodiil's other problems.
At least I would go quite enrage when I use a token to enter Cyrodiil and then my game crashes right when I enter the first battle... or I get stuck in loading screen after 20 minutes of playtime in Cyrodiil and I have to use another token to get into Cyrodiil again.

So no... just no to the token, sorry - not gonna pay a single buck for this as long as ESO is facing so many issues kicking you out of Cyrodiil on a random basis.

+1 on this. Happy to pay for ESO Plus if it includes queue priority. Happens in Battlefield Premium membership.

Yup I mentioned that too, and as said it should have queue priority as default, just as in Premium BF3/4.

No *** way im paying money to get into cyrodiil. The game is sooo laggy and bugged out and adding a priority queue to payers would probably be the end of ESO on my part. I have a feeling a lot feels the same way.

As it is now ESO doesnt deserve a dime from PvP'ers

Just the fact that you log onto their servers makes them deserve money from you....this mentality baffles me..so entitled

I dont pvp that much, the gueue line is the biggest reason for this. Seeing my pvp guild choose on a Saturday like thornblade to have their guildrun, makes me already give up on joining them. Since sitting waiting hours as number 230 in queue, thats just not fun.

So yeah I actually agree with this, those that sub, should get a benefit like this for sure, and it would in the future keep me subbed, since right now, im struggling with seeing what I gain other then 10% rate on stuff, thats not even necessary

The queue should prioritize the people that have had the campaign set as "home" longer. Say no to bandwagons!

Oh boy please don't get this to a "what is a convenient item and what not in crown store" discussion.

If they add a prioirity queue system to the sub I am also fine with adding a consumable item that will get you prioirity for like 10 times queueing up. I doubt this makes much sense but who knows.

A better proposal I've seen somewhere was to add tokens to change your campaign free of charge and immediately, so you don't have to wait for the cooldown and save the AP fee, but that's also another topic ;)

And then when 100 people use their consumable at the same time...

If you're a "self-entitled scrub" who just doesn't want to pay to play this game, you can wait in line with the rest.
Who are the self-entitled scrubs, those who subscribed (1500 crowns, DLC access, etc)and keep whining for MORE, or those who bought the game and ask for nothing?

ESO is BUY TO PLAY game now, need a picture?

Bumping this to the top again as many people cancelling their sub mentioned they would think about resubbing for a prioirity queue for ESO+ members in several threads in "General Discussion".

Actually make ESO+ worth it and people might start subbing again.

This change would require minimal code and could generate a lot of money.

I think that's actually a pretty cool idea, a cross-pond server that only was available to subscribers. I don't know if this game has the player liquidity for another server though but if they got rid of azura's it could work. Also people would end up with some kind of suffix or prefix on their name due to name overlaps.

If I had a choice between my sub going towards them writing code for priority queue or fixing the lag and bugs, I'd have to go the latter.

Yeah, it'd be great to have the ability to skip queue to get into Cyrodiil to get lagged out faster. Sweet.

LOL, no! Everyone else paid for the game as well, how would this be fair for them? If it was an option from the get go, and people bought into the game knowing a sub only priority queue existed, that'd be a different story. But I guess if Zeni would be willing to offer refunds to anyone who dislikes your proposed stupid pay2queue system then idc!

Anyway, I dont think anything needs a change, but I'll suggest something to appease the people that do - a sub only campaign! Sure, you'll cry about not being able to play with non sub friends, but can't be selfish now can we?! =)
