ZOS can you make a console section on the forums

I understand we are a big community but the systems work different and different bugs will appear and questions relating to the consoles will appear.
Can there be a place for all the questions and console chatter?

I also agree, it's already enough that we need to constantly state whether we are talking NA or EU. With bugs we also need to state PC or Mac. Sure I imagine many of the forums makes sense to keep for all platforms to use, but a couple definitely should be split up a bit.

I'm not asking to segregate anyone, let everyone see/post in all the forums, but a few related specifically to consoles would be nice.

I agree there should be a separate Technical Support Board for the console version as there are for the PC and Mac versions, and I'd be amazed if that wasn't already planned. That aside, we're all playing the same game and should act as one community in my view. We do no-one any advantage by adopting a "holier than thou" approach according to whether we subscribe or not, or play on one machine or another. I'm not for a moment suggesting that is what lies behind this topic but such divisiveness is beginning to appear in other topics and I hope it's nipped in the bud.

That said, I agree that there will be additional technical issues arising on console, and a far stronger moderation of the boards would be welcome in terms of keeping technical stuff on the technical boards and off the general discussion board - although that applies equally to the pre-console situation.

We will need a separated forum for when the Console Beta launches, for Console specific feedback, bug reports, and general discussions.

Look at it this way: how is ZoS supposed to sort through all the console beta feedback when beta launches if it's all mixed up with a majority of PC threads? Not to mention that since there will be less people in the console beta than the full PC version, any console beta feedback thread will be lost very quickly.

It's just not optional in my opinion, it's downright required, and I hope they at the very least add a separate Console Beta Feedback forum.

No forums are currently planned for platform-specific feedback. If something isn't related to a technical issue, then the appropriate general category can be used.

Starting to sound like it.... Not a good sign. It almost seems like they might only do a console beta for a publicity stunt at this point.

I wouldn't know, but I assume that ZOS_AlanG was referring to post-launch forums on the live game, not the pre-launch beta or post-launch PTS situation so far as console players are concerned. That could, however, be usefully clarified.

The issue is consoles and PC/Mac will have different issues/bugs want lists. They are and will be different games that have similarities. Threads will get confusing and it will become a waste of time opening up a thread to find the information is mute since it doesn't apply to your game.

Sorting by language would require less frequent updating of the Dev Tracker. We decided that immediate updating was preferable to a delay, so it was keep tri-lingual.
