Will we ever see world progression?

I was wondering, will we and should we ever see changes in landscapes as the game progresses further?

Will we ever see dolmens stop being a threat to Tamriel?
Will we ever see Dune being fully rebuilt?
Will we ever see Tava's Blessing purged of undead threat?
Will Cyrodill actually be morphed into jungle landscape as it should have been from the start?
Etc. etc. etc.

I know adding new zones is always fun but it would also be nice to see the world progress and evolve around you. I wonder if Zenimax has plans for doing so and should we have such things in game.

Your never going to see those things at-least for awhile, and has for the pvp area becoming a jungle wouldn't count on it they covered why both in-game and out of game. Can't have a dense jungle and do pvp is the real reason why it wont be ever would have to latterly redo every keep and siege weapons to a degree so you not hitting trees with somethings

    Just my two bits.

Not really sure why Cyrodiil not being a jungle is a problem for people. I personally like that it's more like Oblivion. As far as lore, this is from the wiki:

"Despite some accounts describing Cyrodiil as a jungle, it primarily has a temperate climate. One scholar of the middle Second Era attributed this discrepancy to errors made during the transcription of historical texts, while another speculated that White-Gold Tower itself gradually adapted the climate to suit the region's inhabitants. Later sources asserted that Emperor Tiber Septim altered Cyrodiil's climate upon his apotheosis."

I see nothing wrong with it looking the way it does. I would imagine as time progresses there will be alterations to the landscape as the story requires.

Dragons return in 4th Era. If you want to see that play Skyrim

We are in the second era because little lore was referenced or existed from this time. Hop on board the second era train!

We're in 2e with only about 100+ years before events from canon would interfere with what is being played now, so I would rather they do more to simply introduce content than "world progression". Don't get me wrong, it's a nice idea, but content is king for a reason.

ANY MMO get world progression, thats logical and untaken part of ANY MMO game (when its created on long terms of course and its not only to fast get money and close project) and its not about what I want to see, its about what there should be to feel more immersive.

I had high hopes for this. I remember one of the earlier trailers talking about their amazing phasing technology and how you'd see locations respond to your actions - I think the example given was about saving a town from werewolves, or something.

This does happen a bit, but not nearly enough IMO. Far too many quest locations continue to spawn hostile mobs even after the quest is over and I can't think of any examples of stuff getting repaired, rebuilt, etc.

I think they got scared off by too many people complaining about being out of phase with group-mates who had already done the quest, were at a different stage, etc.

You are correct. Thank you for reminding us the time period the game is set in. If you're interested in the third era there is already a game for that.

No, we won't see it(or at least any time soon as in a few years). The map is not even completely filled out. ESO needs to focus on content hard after the console release or else this game is as good as dead.

It's been nine years since the initial Oblivion outrage and a year since ESO repeat. I think it's time to move on and accept new lore. The explanation is actually pretty interesting.

If there ever is a sliver of doubt at ZOS HQ about whether to add new zones, or to revamp old ones, I seriously hope they go for the former, at least in the foreseeable years to come. I want to see that map of Tamriel eventually be completed. And I wouldn't balk at seeing interesting parts of other continents, either...

No this is a theme park game so while there might be new content added or quests such as the pledge quests (Normal and Veteran) I don't see any action you take in the world having any lasting effects. I think it is good for what it is but if you want sand box you will have to go elsewhere.

Did I asked your or other permission where i should go? Makes sense about bad manners of kid tho. And as i said before, any MMO needs to continue worlds progression/history simply to keep old players interested in game/quests/adventuring and so on and you can simply see that as an example in any other toplist mmo's that world gets PROGRESSION. I dont think tamriel history based game can get any world progression besides of changing eras, none of old players wish to fight molag bal for 5+ years all the time while game have such huge options to choose main story line.
