Takara The Eggbearer - Impending Storm Ignores Annulment and Conjured Ward

So I was fighting Takara and I found it interesting that with both Harness Magicka with 12k spell damage absorption as well as Hardened Ward with another 12k damage absorption both active (as well as 28 points into Bastion for another 10% damage absorption), they seem to mitigate 0% of Takara's Impending Storm. I'm not sure if that's a bug or not for that attack to ignore those shields, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention.

I have fought this boss several times. The specific magic absorb effects do not work usually against AOE, and this is an AOE which can be dodged. Straight damage absorbs work, and may be your key to survival. The damage is inconsistent. I have seen ~14k, and I have seen 20k+.
I tried to do a fair amount of troubleshooting with regard to what is going on, so please do add any details you can for ZoS to help hunt down the issues!Edited by Ytterin on April 18, 2015 9:27PM0
