They wanted gaining ultimate to be more even across everyone.. so the tank/healer could gain ultimate as quick as the DPS type thing.

Na it was PvPs fault too. Thank your casual catering really. People complained, ZOS catered to the casual community by making ultimate gain a standardized, expected rate that is the same for everybody.
So everybody could be like:

Actually, they did this mre to balance out pvp. In the end, most changes are made coz of pvp whines. PvE gets scrapped more from pvp whining.

If you look around, DKs aren't dropping Standards and Batswarms every 5 seconds, so I'd say it is working as intended.
seriously I still have NO IDEA as to why they did this did I miss something or....

Its called balance I guess.
Ellite players are usually far more interested in finding godmode hax than balance though.
Then get all defensive and say things like casual and carebear because ZOS took their toys away.

Elite was probably the wrong term, and I bet it was used here ironically. Meta gamer is a more accurate term. And no, I don't think they are well liked. They tend to break balance leading to nerfs that hurt other PvP and PvE players alike. They're lack of sustainability in the non-vet campaign is one of the reasons Blackwater Blade is considered one of the best places to PvP currently in the game.Rune_Relic wrote: »It was so the game couldnt be exploited to the max by specific classes and builds.

Agreed that some builds cos do that but that was what the build was BUILT for, when it came to single target they struggled to do 200dps lol, from what im getting people don't like elite players is that the problem? if your not good enough to be called elite get better or do something else. If something is hard to figure out you dont complain till the cows come home you adapt to it, learn and become elite yourself. Thats how i see it anywaytimidobserver wrote: »Because some classes had a significant advantage on getting their ultimate up over others. Some had ways to get ultimate up almost instantly. Which is boring and static and not what i liked about the game
