Hey all, figured some of you might want to see the Leopard mount in action before dropping the money on it. It is only available from April 16 to 20 so if you like it I would get it before it becomes unavailable!

Thanks for the vid. Leopard is really cool. You convinced me......I don't need it since I already have a really cool Senche mount and it was free (more or less). 2500 Crowns is at least 5 times what I would pay for a different look. Sometimes it's good to be a cheap b ***.

Thanks @Dulfy, I'm firmly on the fence right now about whether I want to get this particular senche. My Khajiit nightblade prefers the striped senche for sure because it's got very similar fur patterns and colours to him, but I have a Khajiit dragonknight who might prefer this senche... Or I might hold off until other senches are offered.

This video will be useful to help me make up my mind on whether I truly want this senche, as well as whether I'm willing to spend that many crowns on it.

The Nightmare Courser is different, other than that, a Guar is a Guar and a Senche is a Senche and a Horse is a Horse...so far.

I'm pretty sure there isn't any difference in the sounds they make. I've got both Guar, so I can test later tonight if nobody else knows.

Too bad I had to pay some other (higher) bills this month, so no Senche Mount for me.. again.
The first I missed out just by a few days due to my former ISP which messed up my whole connection just a few hours after pre-launch/early access and couldn't get it fixed for exactly 7 weeks, so as a 30-days subscriber, I couldn't catch up anymore to get the Striped Senche.
In general it would be more clever to offer things like this around a standard payday instead of "whenever"..

But, besides of my frustration about it, nice video, and you guys have fun with the Senches, of course :-) The next thing I'm hoping for would be a chicken pet

Thanks for posting! I too, am on the fence. More so now having seen this in action. For something that expensive, why on earth does it not have a specific riding animation? This looks like it is using the horseriding animation- and you are bumping up and down on the saddle in the most uncomfortable way possible! They made it work for the Guar, so why couldn't they make it work for something that is almost double the price? C'mon ZOS! The more I type, the more I think I will not be buying this, even though I still haven't spent any of my crowns... this just doesn't sit well with me... no pun intended.

Yeah as someone who missed out on the tiger, seeing it in game I am not upset about it at all. However this leopard looks pretty cool! I have the crowns currently but it would almost drain me, so I too am on the fence about getting it.

these 2 guars are the same animal, like 2 horses but different paint.
Tiger and Leopard are like horse and donkey, i would expect more difference then just skin colour

Except these aren't tigers and leopards we're talking about. They're senche-tigers and senche-leopards. Like anything with senche in the name it's unclear exactly how much they have in common with other creatures with senche in their name, and it's not entirely clear if they may be the exact same species, but with different fur patterns.

A wolfhound and a retriever look different too, but did ESO change the model? Nope. Didn't even scale the wolfhound to be bigger, as far as I can tell in the preview window.

It's still irrelevant. We're not talking about real-world animals. We're talking about creatures in Tamriel. Real tigers and leopards can't be used as mounts. These aren't those animals: they're senche-tigers and senche-leopards.

They may be the same species as the Khajiit that are playable in-game, as there are more than 20 different forms of Khajiit (including the senche and senche-raht) - all of which are the same species, but which have vastly different physical appearances. An Ohmes Khajiit (which looks like a Bosmer) and a Suthay-Raht Khajiit (the ones you can play in ESO) could have a child together who was a Senche-Raht Khajiit (probably about 15 feet tall, quadrupedal, and used as battle steeds).

Or the various senche mounts may be a separate species from Khajiit, with only differences in fur between them, and names based entirely on what they resemble (the senche part because they can be ridden like the Senche and Senche-Raht types of Khajiit, and the tiger or leopard part because they resemble regular tigers and leopards). Or they may each be a different species. We don't know, because frankly the only people to whom it is all clear are Khajiit. Even other denizens of Tamriel aren't clear on any of this.

So your comparison to real world leopards and tigers has no bearing on senche-tigers and senche-leopards.
