PVP XP buff needs to change.

Right now the 15% XP/CP gain you can get from the PVP Enemy Keep buff is the best you can get in the game. It is 50% better than the 10% you get for PAYING $14 a month for a sub! Tell me how THAT makes sense, especially with EP pop-locking 2/3 of the campaigns?

On top of that, Cyrodiil is the only viable/solo grind zone for Champion Points post-v14. That means not only do they put all the content to advance in the game in the PVP zone, but they require you to constantly PVP to maintain that 15% XP/CP buff for Champion leveling/progression.

With so many nerfs to PVE XP gains Cyrodiil is really the only option.

This is currently giving zerg farmers incentive to obliterate fair competition in order to maintain the buff for themselves and keep other factions from enjoying it and advancing on a competitive level.

It has nothing to do with fairness when one faction outnumbers another more than 2:1.

Either ZOS needs to remove the XP buff altogether, or have it not apply to CP. Keep the rest of the PVP buffs the same, just eliminate the XP buff. Either that, or reduce the max to 5% and make it something everyone gets for having a home campaign.

EDIT: There is some confusion as to whether this buff applies only to player kills or all kills. Some say player kills only, yet addons tracking XP gains appear to show the difference killing normal PVE mobs outside Cyrodiil. If this only applies to player kills I would be OK with it.

Another possibility would be adding more small-scale campaigns with time-zone lockouts to prevent night capping with zero competition. That way everyone could have the same chance to gain this 50% greater-than-sub-XP buff in spite of radically disproportional faction populations.

I thought the Delve Boss Buff only gave a 20% Bonus to AP, not XP.

I am cancelling my subscription, as it is BS a zerg guild on EP gets to roll all the PVP servers and earn a 15% XP bonus when I am paying $14 a month for no new content and only a 10% bonus.

What the hell am I paying for?

If you've followed ZOS' stance on Cyrodiil, it's all working as intended. They WANT people in Cyrodiil doing PvE/small-scale PvP, so there won't be so much lag. I disagree with this strategy, but this is what they're aiming for. In fact, I've been in Cyrodiil once since 1.6 came out. Still waiting for anything to spike my interest again.

DC or EP zergs Haderus which has been an AD buff server since inception and you're complaining about fairness????? The AD population on Had routinely snuffs out players from other factions by odds of 10-1 or worse..Give me a break! Your real concern as stated in another thread is your trial times. Guess what - it's a big concern of... just you.

So a month ago everyone was complaining because Cyrodiil campaigns were dead. Zos makes changes to bring more people in and now people are complaining because the incentive is too good and the campaigns are population capped.

    Got it.

Uh no. He is complaining that his buff server got rolled and he doesn't have his buffs for trials.

Nope. If you all take the time to read the thread instead of assuming I am "crying about trial times" or some such which I actually don't care about, you would see I very specifically spelled out the ONLY buff I was concerned with is the XP buff for Champion Point advancement.

I even went so far as to say "leave the rest how they are."

But that's cool man, if you've got it all figured out, just skim over those pesky words and facts and go with your knee-jerk assumptions about what other people are saying to you. That way it is easier to slot any discrepancy into a pre-conceived world view of "us and them."

Oh, and by the way, for those blowing the "more players is better" trumpet you might hold off. The server hardware can't handle it. More players = lag to death meteor and healing springs spam, which rapidly becomes no fun to play when you can't even weapon swap or siege.

Honestly I don't care about PVP buffs aside from the 15% XP buff. Everything is fine when every faction has a "buff server" for that alone and the hardcore crowd stick to the competitive campaigns with the greater rewards.

The problem here I suspect is the lag is causing them to burn out and seek their second-tier kicks taking the little kids buff balloons away from them. XD

Unfortunately I'm afraid you're right about the server hardware but it's not confined to PvP. I had a heck of a time while gathering mats in Bangkori. The lag was so bad I thought I was back Chill. No telling what this weekend is going to be like.

The CP system is a disaster. I finally decided to quit messing with it and went back to actually playing the game. Somebody at ZOS should be flogged for coming up with it.

Last I believe you have come up with the new motto for us anti-buff server people - "Take Away Their Balloons". I laughed like crazy when I read that.

Thing is, those are imaginary balloons that exist only in some players' minds. There are no buff servers. And I agree with everything that makes them go away. There are several campaigns for a reason (player and server load distribution) and they should all be competitive. Buff servers are a gaping wound in ESO.

PvE'r disguised as a player fighting to preserve Cyrodiil competition?

No OP. The buff needs to be increased. Infact it should just be a 30-50 overall buff for being in Cyrodiil.
