I don't actually see how it would work anyway, but I would only say Yes if it was randomly-generated items that were not in the player's inventory, in which case it would be pointless anyway because you can pickpocket NPCs for that stuff.
Hey, guys, I'm the OP.
Judging by the results so far coming out of this poll, I note two needs for the PvP part of the Justice System (if that happens)...
1: Pickpocketing loot from players will be fluff that is system generated.
2: You can opt in or opt out at any time.
Did I get that right?

I can understand your points, but if it costs you nothing, if there is no risk at all, then sorry, that would bore me to death.
Its like when you are in PvP and you wipe a enemy raid, some of your warriors have fallen, you res them, and you feel proud of your people, cos it cost you.
Basically victories require loss to mean something, if its easy, then its worth nothing.
In the PvP part of Justice, which personally I cannot wait, dying to take people out, but only if they are of a certain nefarious rank, or however they implement it, and not AFK, so basically they know the risks, and its better for the hunted and the hunter to have something to lose, their lives, and maybe some randomly generated gold, or low level items, or something.
Without that, it would become so boring.
Again IMO
But how do you address:SirCritical wrote: »I don't actually see how it would work anyway, but I would only say Yes if it was randomly-generated items that were not in the player's inventory, in which case it would be pointless anyway because you can pickpocket NPCs for that stuff.
That is why I can't support to pickpocket for standard NPC-loot. The reward should worth equal to the possible punishment.
And the possibility to opt out from this system shouldn't be allowed. There is no point in it if I could turn on JS when going to a stealing run, and when finished, and went to a public place full of players (some of them surely criminals) just turn out the system to "defend" myself from the robbers. Bah, irreal, unfair and lacks of immersion.
The amount of griefing by stealing hard earned gold, gear, and items is too much to risk allowing players to rob other players.
