Crash on startup

So downloaded the patch, and tried to log in, but I can't because every time I launch the game it immediately crashes. This happened after last weeks patch as well, and it is starting to get very annoying.

Anyone else having similar problems?

    Have you chosen to repair the game from the launcher yet?
    Click "Game Options" right above the news links on the launcher, there will be an option to repair it. I was getting CTD on startup a few days ago, repairing fixed it and my game hasn't crashed since.

    Both patches have been fine for me (EU server).

    Have you got plenty of space left on your hard drive? Is your system fully up to recommended specs?

    Have you tried doing a "repair" after the patch?

    Have you tried bypassing the launcher and running the game post-patch from the eso.exe file in the game folder?

    At what exact stage is it crashing, and is there an error message or log report both for the game and in Event Viewer?

    Did a repair, still doesn't work. Got enough space left, and yes I have tried bypassing the launcher(that was how I got it to work last week)

    I launch the game, screen goes white for a few secs and the it crashes. The crash report doesn't provide any details other than "eso has stopped working".

    You might want to try re-installing or upgrading your graphics drivers, or doing a system restore to before the problems started. Have you made any changes at all to the machine recently including any additional installations that might have altered things like the DirectX files?

    No recent changes at all, will try the graphics driver.
