I'm level 17 now but am wondering about these few things:
1) Is there a bonus if I put a corresponding weapon skill on that weapon's hotbar? I'm a Sorc and I'm using destro/restro staff as my 2 weapons. I mix and match the skills from the two weapons on both hotbars. Am I gimping myself?
2) Block. Does it work against magical damage or just physical damage? Also do people actually Block outside of stopping telegrahed attacks? I'm curious because rather than blocking, I usually spam Light Attack.
3) Is there a way "examine" or mouseover a person's buff/debuff (for both allies & enemies). Sometimes I see a few icons/glowing indicators but I have no idea what means what.

✭✭1. You can't activate a weapon skill without the weapon equipped.
2. You can hold down block the whole time while using weapon/class-skills and only doing a light attack every 8 seconds to keep the ultimate generation ticking.
3. The add-on Foundry Tactical Combat (FTC) will put buff/debuff icons on your own and your target's frame, and the add-on Srendarr (or something almost like that) will have your own buffs appear with a timer (bar) and full name. I don't know if it will also do this for target.0
