We just had a look in the game and it appears to be working on our end. The shield should show up as a purple-ish addition to your life bar at the bottom of the screen. If you're using an add-on to track the value of your health, please note that shields will not be added to your total health as they are calculated as a separate value.

You'll also want to be sure that the weapon with the enchantment is charged. If the bar below the stats of the weapon is empty, the enchantment won't work. To refill it, you can right click on the item and select a filled soul gem to top it off.

Back in the game, I tested this today and I'm not getting any "purple-ish addition" to my life bar when using light or heavy attacks from my Dominion's Ice Staff. The staff is definitively charged and I disabled the FTC add-on. I reported this as a bug eons ago. Should I do so again? Thanks.

Ok, I tried using Wormcrusher's Axe which has the damage shield enchantment (hardening) and it works! Since it does not work with Dominion's Ice Staff, I'm wondering if the proc is dependent upon a melee attack as opposed to a ranged attack. Is this possible? Regardless, it would be nice if the Staff gets a fix. How are bugs reported these days? I thought I could do it in-game but choosing the Customer Support icon gives an error.
