Fishing in Glenumbra - Bugged Fish?

Has anyone caught the river fish Brook Trout lately?
All the other fishes i got from around 400 lures totally.
Now ive used 3 days and over 900 bait (insects) alone on trying to catch this eluding trout.
I have 67 Catfish and 72 Warmouth, but no trout.. I have also been fishing with a m8 to try
and increase chances 2 nights.. Still no luck.

ArielleJureaux✭✭✭Have you tried using Shad instead of insects? Each type of water area has a primary and a secondary bait that one can use. I found this excellent guide that may help:

6point6b16_ESO✭✭✭Okay so i spent an evening fishing shads. (many hours) to get 200.
Then another day using them up + 200 extra insects.
so now ive used 1300 baits, including 200 shads And still no Brook Trout..

I caught it today with a few casual casts as I passed a river there.0 -
