I have seen and offered many interesting suggestions for new content, but I definitely want to see serious progress toward resolving or lessening the longstanding issues with basic play in Cyrodill before any new major content is introduced there.I like this game...no, really I do. But they seriously need to fix all the broken and malfunctioning parts before they add anything new.
Yeah, being able to play without a significant portion of my enemies and allies (or myself) regularly lagging, disconnecting, etc would be nice. Some lag is to be expected, but the level it keeps hitting on particular campaigns and at certain times is very problematic, along with persistent and recurring bugs.

1) I'd like to see the lag in Cyrodil fixed before they start development on any new content other than Imperial City.
2) Although I'd like to see Justice PVP and Structured PVP, Imperial City is already a year into development, so halting development on it to work on something else would just delay it further and not make sense.
Let's get the lag fixed, then release Imperial City, then work on other forms of PvP variety.3 -

This would be pretty neat. Some ability to claim it and posts a few guards there? I'd hope there'd be limitations to it though... like only the "main" gate being claimable, or gates reverting to neutral after a time period... but yah. Neat idea. Maybe not gates (which already have a lot of action), but garrisons for towns and other strategic/valuable points?
I actually thinking these small tweaks they've been trying (with various degrees of success) to add some value to the dolmens and delves in Cyrodiil are a great start in getting people to spread out and make Cyrodiil more interesting. They're small steps, and not every one is going to work perfectly right away, but I think in the long term it will make a big difference. Had a great fight at Nikel yesterday on Chill, and it included a group of blues breaking off and going to the dolmen to the west, and then being caught and ganked by yellow. great fun.
The answer I'd like to have seen btw is just "give me Imperial City now" lol. If this is like Darkness Falls it will be epic.0 -

1. They are already working on Imperial City. Why should they stop what they are doing for players with a sense of entitlement who need it "now?" This would delay Imperial City.
2. By moving onto a new project they not only abandon the current, they add new problems into the mix.
3. I would rather see fixes to issues that have been around since beta. Every single damn bug and problem this game had that I reported in beta was present at launch. Some of them are still here. 2 years of bugs unfixed... sorry no.
4. Fix the lag issues and performance issues players have when in Cyrodiil.
5. ZOS has a horrible history so far of breaking things when adding things. The game is finally in a spot where the masses are not going "wtf guys?" No more half-ass nonsense please.
These things are a hell of a lot more important than getting something new right away...

@Dreyloch @Observant Fairly certain that the Imperial City will be phased PvE content. This shouldn't have any effect on how bad server performance already is.
I could be wrong though... I thought at launch the performance couldn't be any worse and I was totally wrong in that regard
