Shadow of Sancre Tor still broken, when can we expect a fix ?

The step "Consecrate the Shrine in the Dragonguard Tomb" has been broken since the early installments of 1.6 on the test server. Next step won't trigger. If I remember some mobs should spawn which you have to kill, they don't.
I guess this happens only to some players, otherwise there would be a much larger outcry. Still, it is a plot stopping bug and needs to be fixed after it's been ignored for months.

✭✭✭✭✭I assume you guys have tried resetting the instance? That usually fixes random blocks in quest progression that don't affect everyone.
(To reset a Main Quest, backtrack to the entrance, return to the Harborage, then leave the Harborage. AD DK btw. I don't use this character for questing anyway, so it's not a big deal for me personally. Still amazed a plot stopping bug seems to have so little priority though.0 -

This is a PROGRESSION-BLOCKING BUG. It needs to be fixed asap.
I submitted a support ticket for this quest when I tried it with my templar on March 12.
Now I am blocked again on my DK. Really pathetic.

✭They are looking for "gameplay programmers" and a "lead gameplay programmer" on their website (as well as a much needed "server programmer"), but whether that is for ESO or for another upcoming game is impossible to tell. In any case, it's very late to try to fix ESO by hiring new talent at this point, and skilled developers might be hesitating to join ZOS to work on ESO, given the game's current reputation.

Well I don't expect them to fix some of ESO's major problems (ones that would involve completely rewriting large sections of code, like lag in Cyrodiil etc.), but if a simple bug like this can't be fixed in a reasonable amount of time it can only be due to incompetence or very poor workflow / project management.
At what point should people be held accountable for the jobs that they are hired to do? Should we just forgive all ineptitude?
In all fairness, I don't want to believe that they can't fix it. I have reason to believe that they simply don't have the resources to fix hardly anything. But that is still no excuse for a multi-million dollar company.0 -
