How often do you use First Person view?

ZOS has done an amazing job with the first person perspective in ESO, especially after the recent improvements to animations. I'm curious to know how often everyone uses it, and whether you have any suggestions for improvements as it is.

Personally I use it at least half the time. Usually when exploring, and occasionally in combat. And I'd like to have first person view while mounted at some point.

I use it in guild wars 2 when im doing map completion and vistas.. its kinda useless on ESO though

When backed against a wall, when going through a tight cave with lots of vines in the way, or most recently, while thieving around towns and in people's houses. The latter reason makes it feel more immersive, and I can more accurately focus the cursor on what I want to steal.

I've decided that the next character I level up is going to be a sneaky, thieving NB that only plays in first-person view. Should be interesting.

Eh, it depends. If I'm trying to spot something that's hard to find (like the Shadow Cluckers during the Shad Astula questline; it was night in-game when I was doing this portion and so the Cluckers were nigh impossible to spot), then I'll pop into 1st person POV, since the immediate world is "zoomed in" so to speak. Otherwise, I prefer playing in 3rd person, with the camera zoomed out as far as possible in the world and zoomed a bit closer in dungeons. I like being able to have a clear view of any enemies that might be coming up behind or from the sides, which are major blind spots in 1st person.

I always played the single player TES games in first person and thought that would be the case here, but I only use it for screenshots and looting.

Ever since I've started using dual-wield weapons, almost all the time in combat.

When using a 2h sword, never.

Mostly 3rd with staff, but sometimes 1st.

I prefer 3rd person view, so it was unlikely I was going to ever use fp view. I used a lot of fp view in skyrim when looting rooms i'd cleared, and spent *some* time in combat in fp, especially when using ranged weapons.

In this game, I spend nearly all my time in 3rd person - the only time I switch to first is take screenshots, really.

Missing option of just "100%" (unless you count the time forced while riding).

Also unbound the keys from the wheel so I don't accidentally go into unrealistic-mode.

I only use First Person view when I try and Ctrl-V /reloadui after death in PvP (like once every two minutes) and the Ctrl doesn't take.

I used to all the time when i first started playing. I love it but its very hard to see small aoes or mob/things in general . So it would cause me to die

Very little indeed, i like to have a larger degree of view of my character... so this way i dont end up sneak-scared by passing guards or something. xD envoirmental awareness thing is hard in first person really... for me at least...
Though I do use it in rp-ish situation such as when i want to lean my back against a wall and flip a coin at the same time... i feel so uncanny that way ^^

First person riding then first person 100%.
Until then the only difficulty is adjusting the sensitivity to that sweet spot for keeping an eye on everything in hectic combat.

Unfortunately have to zoom out to make calls for other, less aware peoples during trials. :'(
(It baffles me that someone playing in third notices a third as much as someone playing in first.)

I'm always in 3rd person view myself, it's just out of preference and not any practical obligation. I've always played elder scrolls games in 3rd person, I just can't seem to enjoy 1st person view much, but I know many do.

I use it when looting because the focus seems to jump past things sometimes. I used to always use first person, but got used to third person and find it much more useful for fighting.

I love going into first person sometimes just for the new headbob and animations. Getting knocked back by an enemy is just so well done in first person now. If there were somne kind of decent indicator for when I was immobilized, snared, or had a DoT on me I would probably stay in first person most of the time(except for PVP).
