Unable to get vampirism or werewolf curse

I've tried to get vampirism from 2 players on different accounts over a month apart (before and after TU went live) on Kethlinn, my v2 Nord templar, at the vampire shrine in The Rift. I tried moving around, jumped on top of the shrine, removed all my gear, no luck, no quest, no nothing. Then I logged over to my v6 Imperial NB and was able to get it vampirism first try which burned up my friend's bite for nothing just to test on a character that I've retired.

Then I tried to get the werewolf curse and it said I was immune, but it made my character all red and scratched up looking.

You can't get both vampirism and werewolf curse on the same character. Its either or. I don't know if thats what you tried, though.

I don't think that's what he tried. There seems to be a bug going around. You may have to contact customer support, as I didn't see any workaround

I make potential pups go through the long ritual wich requires first dancing with me in werewolf form , hoping up and down across the lake of wet dog baptism , barking in zone chat and chanting "Hiricine Hericine he's are man ! If anyone can make me a wacky werewolf he can ! Yaaaaaaay Hiricine !"

Then I devour the pup and it works like charm every time ...

You are the second person this week that has mentioned being "immune". The other person was legitimately bitten and not a vampire, couldn't get the bite to work, fell down turned black but nada. He posted on the forums a few days ago. I would submit a HELP request (not Bug) here on the forums >>help

I first tried to get vampire twice, no luck then I tried werewolf, still no luck.

Hello, @Spagetti. We did create a ticket for you. If you encounter an issue in the future, we encourage you to please submit a ticket in game on the character which is affected. The reason for this is that an in-game ticket includes information about your character which may help our Customer Support Team help you in a more efficient manner (for instance, they may see a buff and know immediately how to fix it, rather than having to investigate).

To open the help interface (which will allow you to create a ticket), please click F1 while in game or type /help into the chat box and hit the enter key.

Hi have the same issue, i seem to be immune to the werewolf bite, and i'm certain i don't have the vampire bite... so i think it is a bug.

Well i tried to bite my friend and i got this Immune stuff ... Plus that he got some de-buff with some Devour on him. like 20 of them. we tried like 20 min and it didn't work.
