[HELP] Progression blocked AGAIN. Unable to complete Cadwell's Silver.

I am really beginning to think that my account has been flagged somehow. No one else I know is having problems with these quests.

As you can see, this quest cannot be completed on my account. I have tried abandoning it and retaking it, closing the game and re-logging, doing it with no addons, running a repair, the usual. Same result.

It has been a full week and I still have not heard back on the other progression-blocking bug that seemingly only I STILL have (after the last patch supposedly fixed it). I am not particularly confident in the prospect of receiving help on this one either.

This is much more serious for me however as I am basically prevented from advancing to Cadwell's Gold until this quest is completed, which I obviously can't do.

    Did you try removing the game client and the live files and reinstalling? It's a huge PITA but maybe the only way?

    Believe it or not, yes. It took about three HOURS to re-download the 32+ Gigs of game files, which no doubt has reduced the life of my SSD drive considerably.

    Did nothing.

    I logged out for an hour and a half and when I logged back in this time it worked.

    I don't even want to speculate on the reason. I will add "baby needs a time out" to my list of things to try when quests stop working from now on, along with the aforementioned troubleshooting steps.

    *sigh*
