3. Not what anyone wanted and if the devs wanted to make DAOC 2 they should have made DAOC 2.

Yeah i don't think the devs of this game ever played a single TES game outside of MAYBE unmodded skyrim on PS3. ahhahhahahaha

Probably, well I think its also possible the devs haven't played an mmo in the last 10 years either.. The elaborate rightclick menu system gives Microsoft a run for their money. Hang on eso is a game.
Jokes are probably true aside though, I think with immersion its really simple.. every single inch of the world I've been to feels like the most perfectly manicured garden park. Like the ones they make coffee table books out of. There's nothing overgrown, nothing not pixel perfect gardened (even the broken stuff is perfect). While this is excellent from a pixel perfect point of view, for immersion it kills it hard.
I've also just been able to convince myself that I don't care that basically every place in the world, I'm only going to be there once and once only.. the first time visiting a place and checking it out will 99% be the LAST time i'll ever seen the place.. My immersion sense can't seem to let this go though.
I do find these sad, but at the same time I'm loving eso so can't complain. Play as much as you can in fps view and it helps go back to skyrim a bit.
