Infinite loading screen upon login

I enter my password in correctly, log in, and then I get an infinite loading screen. I've restarted my computer multiple times but the problem still persists, how do I fix this?

We have a couple of clarifying questions that will help us start troubleshooting this issue with you.

Have you been able to play the game in the past, or is this your first time logging in?
Is the infinite loading prior to reaching character select, or after you select a character?

I'm not sure what the exact problem was, but after running a repair several times the problem no longer persisted, thanks! @ZOS_GaryA
