Non AVA characters limiting Cyrodiil experience with guild mates

So I am not sure if this is the best place to post this, so I ask your forgiveness in advance. This is what is happening to me lately: With the long queue times of the dominant campaign (Thornblade), my guild mates are guesting in one of the three other Vet Campaigns fairly regularly. I am in an EP guild with primarily EP tunes except one. I started ESO a year ago with an AD toon and she is now level 50 in all crafting except alchemy - I cannot delete her because of this. Unfortunately I took her into to Cyrodiil a couple times, just for the skill points and skyshards and besides that she is a total peace loving wood elf, lol. Now because of her AD presence in a campaign I am totally limited play wise when it comes to the campaign she is in. And now with the other campaigns filling up, I can no longer "travel to player" when my guildies visit Chillrend. Poor thing, she is just a crafter!! Does anyone know of anyway to completely remove a char from aVA???

If not, please, please, please ZOS, give this option to us - allow us to remove non aVa playing toons from aVa. Not all of us are trying to spy, or cheat the system. I have other guildies feeling this pain as well!!

Umm.. not entirely sure what you're asking.. You can change campaigns when they reset and you also have a home and a guest campaign. Just because you're joined to that campaign doesnt mean you're taking up someone else space if you're not actually playing.

Or are you asking for a free run of all campaigns because you just want to be with your friends? If so, yer that won't work.. My main crafter is also my main.

@Dekkameron Not asking to change campaigns, I am asking her to be REMOVED from ALL AvA. You cannot guest or home in a campaign where a toon of yours in an opposing faction is assigned too. You can change campaigns once and only once for free, after that it costs AP.

This toon is not a playing character except for when I need new armor or weapons - otherwise she is hanging out in Elden Root looking cute. She knows all the motifs except a few Dwemer pieces, knows all the traits for most components minus nirnhoned (working on that now) and is level 50 Enchanting and we all know what a PAIN that is to level. Deleting her would set me back a year crafting wise. There is absolutely no reason to have her assigned to any aVA campaign.

Am I asking for free reign? NO! I abide by the limitations of changing guests campaigns for the most part which I believe is like 24-48 hours. But if my friends want to go into Chillrend, I am screwed because my non playing toon is stuck there. I believe there should be an option to remove a char from aVa completely and forever!

I've heard this asked before and I believe the answer was no. Your main character (now crafter) chose the alliance affiliation when she went AD to Cyrodiil. It would be awesome to change it, or just redo it with your other character... But I don't think you can...
...now that its buy2play, you could sink 30bux in a new game with new characters but that's probably not a great option.
I sympathize with you, having a main that is a crafter myself, now I'm raising a replacement.
AND I feel for those that a year into the game are playing with a different guild or alliance. Good luck to you.

@SLy_Kyti Yup I am sure the answer would be No. But perhaps this is something they could consider for the future OR offering a faction change would fix this too. *Sigh*

The answer is no as I myself also have this issue with 2 AD girls who have been retired to crafting. I'm left with moving them between campaigns when I need to move my EP girls due to guilds moving.

The only other way you can follow your guild if a camp is locked is for someone who can enter that guild to put you into a group queue, when that pops you can enter.

Yeah I wish we could totally remove that link to PVP. I guess because of the AP you still need that link to a campaign. Maybe they can, in the future code something where you leave a campaign without switching to another one and just have your APs sit there in limbo on that character until you join another campaign.

@Seravi Yeah, the first time you move a char is free but after that it costs AP to move campaigns. And if your char doesn't go into AvA..... I am sure you get the picture LOL.

Yes, I do it often for fellow guildies. I'm usually in PVE land, invite them to group and start the queue, they enter and I stay in PVE. I mean if you have someone who also wants to enter it'd work no problem, but if everyone is already in that campaign someone would have to leave to get you in.
