    Yea. They kill Darryl, we riot.

    Twitter is going to be so scary the day that happens... You know it's coming. They are running out of original characters....

    Oh that day will probably go down in history as the day that they had to take Twitter offline because death threats.

    I don't want to see this game become 'Pay to Win', where gear is sold (directly or via lock boxes)
    I am ok with this game having a 'Pay Wall' (DLC have to be brought or rented)
    and I am fine with this game being 'Pay for Convenience' by selling exp potions etc
    (Convenience = makes something faster, but it can still be done the long way)

    I know that Lock Boxes are a controversial subject in MMOs. While not a fan of them myself, I understand that that is just my opinion and other people may really like that thrill of gambling.

    In every game with a Cash Shop that I have played, lock boxes inevitably show up sooner or later. ( For those not familiar with them, they are boxes you can buy and, when opened, you have a small chance of getting some really epic and/or rare loot. Usually you just get helpful items or common stuff. The idea behind it is to get players to buy a bunch of them to improve their odds of acquiring the desired item. )

    So if they ever come to TESO, just one request: Please make the rare items available as a separate purchase. Maybe make them the cost of four lockboxes or something, but don't create gear that can only be got via lock boxes.

    Thank you!

    lock boxes = crowns
    crowns = money
    money = gambleing
    zos does not have a license for this

    Actually there are ways around that. Which ones apply depend on the gambling laws in the countries where the game is sold but some common examples include:
    • You don't gamble with real money: you use real money to buy in-game points in a straight transaction, then gamble with them. Because the points and the prizes both have no real world value from a legal perspective there is no gambling occurring.
    • You are guaranteed to get a prize, and all the possible prizes are known in advance so the only 'gambling' is which one you get. This is why those vending machines that give little plastic toys can be played by children and aren't governed by gambling laws.
    • There is some element of "skill" involved and whether you get a prize or not depends on how well you do. Like fairground games.

    You don't need RNG boxes... I mean you should be able to mystery gift mounts and pets to friends though... that is the lockboxes from League of legends, but it is purely for cosmetics and it is fun :)

    Whether you are questing or grinding or anything, if you gain exp you gain CP.. you stated that those who have been thru gold and silver have NO way to earn CP.. this is simply not true. You didnt say anything about looking for something "comparable" to the amount of exp <and therefore CP> you gain from doing Gold and Silver content.. You simply said that once you finish gold and silver there was no way to earn CP.. this is simply untrue.. perhaps if you are looking for something specific, you should make a specific statement.. you spoke in generalities, and I simply corrected your general statement..

    Sorry but having no quests and getting 200xp or less per kill on mobs is not reasonable when you need 400k XP per CP and there are 3600 CPs total. It's really not even worthwhile when you are enlightened IMO (unless you have a group for group activities but even that has been nerfed into the ground) which is why I started leveling *another* alt.

    This is not a good progression system as it stands and it's especially bad when you consider how it's being set up. Nerf all XP gain. Add in 50% XP pots to the store and let ppl pay to have the old XP gain back. If you think that is a reasonable system then by all means stop posting and get back to that 10 year long grind.
