Game crashes in main quest (final MolagBal fight)

Well, the title says it all. I can not finish the main quest because the game will always crash during the final fight with Molag Bal. Then my character stays logged into this bugged quest so i can't log into the game again. This is SERIOUS trouble ! I have made this quest from the start about 5 times now (contact support, wait in vain for a fix, hope with updated game, try again and crash again, contact support again... and so on...). Anyone had this issue or is this just me ?

Game crashes are not just you. They are all over the place and have been since 1.6 was implemented. My only suggestion would be to try it again and a different time of day. This time of day there seems to be all kinds of issues people are having with the game. Give it a few hours and try again.

Hey there @Ghanth,

If you haven't already, please give a shot to lowering your visual settings just for this fight and let us know if it helps. The Molag Bal fight has a lot of effects happening at the same time, which might cause more issues than standard overworld content.

Hey,

I have tryed everything you have talked about and more so many times that this is becoming extremely boring to do this quest over and over again. The bug remains and the game ALWAYS crashes after Molag Bal exploded and just before i can touch the ground.

iam having the same problem crashing when he releasing me i fly back land on ground and i get crash report log back in and iam dead outside harborage

ive tried lowering details and removed all addons and it still happens ive too have run this quest 5 times and its seriously annoying me now trying to progress in a game where you have to progress and i cant progress

this aint the first time ive had problems with your harborage quests from missing npc's to crashing from previous quest and guess what they where there over 8 months ago when i last played and ive only just resubbed back a few weeks ago to find they are not fixed

so what do i do lvl another character till you fix this cause i have no clue where to go now after coldbridge and to be honest i wish i never resubbed back cause things like this in a game are game breakers for me

yes, lowering details does not help. Perhaps we can take a look to addons or DX version that you are using...

If you had some addons previously installed, you have to clear your addon folder AND delete the 3 files located in My documents > Elder Scrolls Online > Live :
- AddOnSettings
- UserSettings
- ShaderCache.cooked
When done, perform a "repair" from the launcher to be sure to clear everything related to those addons.

Launch game and see if this helped
