Well your like second post in the thread made it sound like our "reinforcements" which were the other 10 or so members of the guild coming back in from the courtyard were the start of the lag. Id been lagging from go. We all knew it would be, thats the name of last emp keep game.
What I didnt count on, nor did the rest of us, is that literally three full raids of AD would all come into the keep at once. I know your group had eight, but all taken together do you even realize how many AD were there? We stopped counting heads on the outer at about 50.
I did find it rather telling that about 1 minute into your vid some cocky dude was calling for "more meteors" like they knew what it was causing.

Yes I do realise that. Do you realise that you yourself has meteor on your bar and are spamming it relentlessly just before you asked for more meteors? I stand by my statement.

Yeah it was me saying meteors, and obviously the 60+ people spamming it weren't in my group nor my teamspeak so i dunoo if I have the power to command them through telepathy.
I was saying it in jest, because we had a conversation about 4 minutes before that about how meteor was the cause of a lot of lag.
The editing of the video makes it seem like I am calling forth metor, but in reality I was doing the opposite.
And, I don't think I sound cocky, thats just how i sound. Don't judge.

You got me. I messed up and thought I was talking to one person. But that is neither here, nor there.
Fact is, whoever recorded that clip was very clearly spamming the ultimate without it going off properly (the actual exploit in question). Your telepathic jesting request for more meteors was just icing on the cake.

I did so so I could record everything happening so that the appropriate people could see first hand what is happening in pvp.

Did you watch the video? Go back and watch how the user frantically slams his ultimate in order to "show proof" of this exploit.

Meteor is not lag guilty alone skill, before meteor we already had unplayable lag, from bomb groups and their infinite resources spamming skills all time.

Not even disabling them because a lot of builds rely on that. Sure we could learn to make a new build but thats besides the point. If it is the particle affects or the calculations of the skills and the effect of them then they should tone them down and or find a way to better their calculations. No need for nerfs or disabling sets in pvp

I think some groups (such as the red guilds on Thornblade who catch most of the flak) have a better handle on what to do during the lag: they opt not to use skills with a cast time, or elaborate ground effects, or detailed animations. They stick to the abilities that will register damage once the server catches up; they make the most advantageous move in a highly disadvantageous situation, which is not the same as cheating, or purposefully creating laggy conditions.
Right now, insofar as we can know anything, we know that certain situations contribute to the lag: situations that call for a large number of players to cluster up in combat against a large number of enemy players, and for those players to use skills that will have an impact against their enemies, such as Meteor. It's insane to go back and forth like: "no, YOU were the ones with all the meteors!" like anyone was yelling over TS for their crew to hit the lag button. People use Meteor because it's a hard hitting AoE ultimate that can be used at range. It's a shame that it seems to be a contributing factor to the lag.
