There are bots in the game?!? I haven't seen any in months.

If there are bots then I would think it's in rare instances. ZOS has done a great job of ridding the game of bots as far as I can tell.

Now, last night I picked up a Blue L6 Recipe, made a L50 Food that increased Health and Magick. The Master Merchant mod I just started using told me that one had sold for 5500 gold in the last day. Since two of my characters knew this recipe I decided to sell it, for 5000. It sold in like 42 minutes, and the Kiosk is at South Point in Grahtwood, kind of an out of the way place (though convenient to a wayshrine). So, I wonder two things, did an add on find that listing and did I charge too little for it, and when am I going to get another Blue recipe to sell like that. OK, that's 3 things, but I got greedy.

Master Merchant can be set to show the items that are selling for less than the average price that it knows about.

People, myself included, can go to a guild kiosk and quickly run through the list of items and the deals are highlighted for them. There is no need to stand around and watch the guild store 24/7.
My husband gathers a lot and gets accused of being a bot all the time.

Real life or in the game?
You really didn't understand the OP's point, did you? Try thinking about the effects of what he's asking for, in games that have this sort of mechanic bots simply don't affect the vast majority of players, AT ALL.

    That is not completely true.

The fact that the node is coded to express resource limitation is the point, and of course most of you missed it. Resource limitation leads to poverty based actions in game....Take some time to reflect on that.
In fact, it seems your point is you are not happy with a certain aspect of the game and you want a change that will make you happy.
I won't speak for anyone else, but the system in place has worked just fine over the past year. I don't think it's the game that needs to change.

I agree with you. Resources were never intended to be unlimited in this game and the system in place now is fine.

I was starting to think we were being trolled but the OP has only been in this forum a couple weeks. Despite the title and content in the posts about anti-bot measures in the marketplace this thread is not about bots at all, it's about a player wanting resources made available freely and in unlimited quantities. So I think the title should be changed.

There are still harvesting bots in the game, just not as many, and a bit more discrete. I encountered several in Hollow City.

But I suspect that it would be almost impossible to be totally free of them.
