Buying XP boosts =more champion points= paying for advantage?

idk, I don't think having 10% more xp earned than me makes you "win" anything, even a 1v1 - I mean we are talking about a system that will take 2-3 years playing hard to get all those champion points, shaving 10% off of that is nice, but not exactly like it's going to make it so people are maxed out asap. Plus, I do think they need some things in the crown store that are expendable that will keep people buying them (the health, magicka, etc pots aren't enough).

Also, someone pointed out to me that you can buy those xp potions with in-game gold as well, which really gives someone no excuse to stress over them.

I do worry that it's not a cosmetic change.

The fact that this is even a discussion is the main reason I haven't logged on in about 2 weeks. This whole transition to a cash store is so disheartening for a game that had so much promise when it started out.

So don't buy anything on the cash store? You act like they automatically charge you for stuff you don't want.

Bans need to start being handed out for saying P2W, because in this day and age I would classify it as trolling.

The quality of the game goes to hell with a cash store, because that is their #1 focus, and the only way they make money.

I guess people are just used to exceedingly mediocre games nowadays, and are OK with that type of model. I'm not, especially when they promised us at launch that the game would never go this route, and always stay a subscription model.

As for not buying anything in the cash shop.... My main gripe is about XP boosts and the like. It's the start of something awful. I'd have 0 problem if they kept a sub model, and charged people 5 dollars for mounts and costumes.

Why is calling something that exchanges real world cash for something that gives you an in-game advantage over another player P2W considered trolling?

I'm sure the 2%-3% advantage you get from XP potions will destroy Cyrodiil and end game as we know it.

I'm glad you support this business practice. Should I blame you personally with how the cash shop looks a year from now, or just people like you in general?

Bahahaha. Do you really expect the crown store to be filled with only cosmetics?

Have you ever played another MMORPG in your life? Most people on this forum seem to act like it.

How do you think B2P MMOs make their money? Box price and cosmetics on the cash shop? No no no no.

If the ability to convert crowns to gold is added(this idea is in several F2P/B2P games), don't be surprised.

I think people are getting an elitist mindset about all of this and missing the point.

What the exp bonus does is it allows new players, alts and those who play less or at a slower rate the opportunity to catch up a little so that they can play with others.

Why wouldn't you want others or more people available to play with?

The champion levels aren't winning or any advantage over another. It's just exp progression and some minor skill adjustments.

If someone was to buy a new VR14 with all shards, gear and completed quests. Or buy high end gear with real money and no other effort.

That would be different. This is in no way that

No, I absolutely do not expect it to ONLY be filled with cosmetics. It looks like we agree on this?? lol
